That could have been anything, but, it could have been a clue from someone suspecting the truth. KioMarie (sp?) already knew that was where Caylee would be if KC did it, I think she told the Globe Magazine?

That leads to everyone that knew KC for any period of time knew, but did not want to come out and say so.

However, it is not really evidence so we must discard for now.

Being in the business I never make up my mind until the end, 12 yrs as a paralegal you pick up things. The defense just has to put doubt in the mind of a few jurors.

I don't know about the chloroform, but I sort of wondered one day if she just plain old smothered little Caylee with a pillow when she was sleeping, and then duct taped her to finish the job.

Just as brutal. Either way, she's very guilty of murder IMO.

And yup, I read the report when it was first released. Pretty bad alright.

I think she taped her after she used the chloroform on her. The duct tape would insure there was no awakening, and it would finish the job.

It's hard to imagine her being able to go unnoticed in her own neighborhood, pulling up and stopping on that street in her own car. I can't imagine it would have been done in the daylight hours- think she had help? I just cant get the scenario in my head of her parking in plain sight, dragging the body out of the car, in the dark, by herself... Anyone???

Absolutely NOT. ICA was pumped up with excitement with what she accomplished. She hated Cindy more than she loved Caylee. A quote from Shirley.

One needs to remember, this spot Caylee was in was known to be a dumping area. No more than one going to their local dumping facility and getting rid of trash. I can name numerous areas around me, in an urban setting, where people stop and get rid of all types of household items. I've seen people unloading furniture in them. Go figure, but yes it's done all over the US of A.

I just watched the footage of ICA's 'illness' in court today:

Numerous times ICA covers her own mouth and nose with her hand, like subconsciously covering her own face with duct tape. Too bad it wasn't her instead the first time.

The tape was removed from the skull and it was in a circle - it circled the head, not in strips.

So, if I am understanding this correctly, essentially the implication is that Casey grabbed a roll of duct tape, stuck one end to Caylee's face and then just went around and around three times.

To me that fits in sooooo much better with what we know of her character. Three strips, tear one off, stick one on, repeat - is too methodical and calculated for Casey. Grabbing a roll and just going to town wrapping it around is waaaaaay more like the impulsive, rageful person we all know her to be.

Ms. KC Anthony fooled alot of people throughout her life didnt she???..To be followed by her ridding herself of her one resposnibility ( sweet Caylee) and kill to birds with one stone..1) hurt her controlling parents 2) Be free to party, con others and live that "Beautiful Life"..What a shame this ICA is IMO

I can see her doing it - maybe in the wee hours of the morning when everyone was sleeping. She thought by putting the body in trash bags, someone would think she was dumping her trash. And if she saw someone or a car pass, she would simply put the bag back in the trunk and find another place to dump her body. She is evil to the core!

here's the problem with this- we all have many ideas of how it might have happened....you can't give someone the DP for 80 different ways they might have done it.

No I haven't stayed with that one - the pillow smothering is too hard to prove and doesn't explain the chloroform. I'm going with the SA's evidence.

Also, from Huck's attempt to appeal, and say the duct tape did not prove anything - the FL Supreme Court had this to say:
"More importantly, the assertion that Mr. Huck taped the victim's eyes and mouth shut after she died is not particularly reasonable. The only logical reason to tape her eyes and mouth shut would have been to prevent her from seeing, talking, screaming for help, or breathing while she was alive. There is no logical or reasonable purpose for taping a person's eyes and mouth shut after she is dead."

The tropical storm brought in a lot of trash I'm sure. I think it was weeks those woods were under water.

There is this horrid picture in my head...At whatever juncture in this murderous "process" it occurred...ICA with a roll of duct tape, possessed by a raging strength and determination to "end it all", roughly wrapping the child's mouth and nose from back to front, the sound of the tape tearing from the roll, ripping it off. Then beginning again, taping from the bottom of the jaw to the top of the head, gripping the head to steady it so she could finish the "job". The ripping sound of tearing tape... The hair getting caught in the tape...Breathless. Exhausted. Job completed. Done. Done. Done.
