I'm not really understandig the defenses argument that Caylee drowned. If that was supposedly the case, what happened? So:

1. Caylee drowns
2. George and Casey have her dead on the lawn after pulling her out
3. Roy Kronk jumps into the yard and takes her into the woods?

What supposedly happen after she was found floating in the pool? Was that ever mentioned or was it left hanging to anyone's interpretation?

Sorry, I'm kind of lost in this.

So you're saying that you think cause of death is what people die of, and manner of death is what the autopsy finds?

Cause is just that. What caused them to die- heart attack ,stroke, asphyxia, kidney failure for example.

Manner- homicide, accident, natural causes...

I'm so sick over hearing evidence of what happened to Caylee, it is so hard to hear how her poor little body was ravished by animals - that was truly harrowing testimony this morning.

To add insult to injury, I noticed that a very smart member of the defense team (one lady with a vast amount of trial experience) has drawn "SAD EYEBROWS" onto ICA's face. Don't believe me, I've watched every hearing, I've seen every photo of ICA and she has never, ever, ever had drawn on straight eyebrows like she had today. This is such an obvious and blatant attempt by the defense team to make their client appear, which she herself is incapable of doing, sad. For most of the trial it's been very clear to see the anger waves shooting off ICA, someone in the defense team noticed and decided this wouldn't be such a good look with all the medical testimony.

Add her fake eyebrows to her fake distress and this girl is a truly frightening specimen of a human being.

someone said a 'jeanne' was sitting in the DT side of the audience. Who is jeanne?

Is she the mitigation person who has been working with ICA for months? Her last name escapes for the moment.

Oh every morning I wake up and log in to see what crazy antics have transpired in this trial. It's getting so that I'm not sure if I'm still dreaming or not because it's so weird.

I genuinely think she is incapable of listening to the truths of her actions being spelled out. I think they will have to medicate her now if she's required to sit through the entire trial in the courtroom. IMO she is going to have some sort of major outburst if they don't.

She's a good liar but she's horrible at facing what she's done! This may be the best punishment of all!

Do you think she will implode or have a spontaneous combustion?

Manner of death would fall under categories like homicide, suicide, accidental....cause of death would be more specific, gunshot would, overdose, stabbing, strangulation, etc....IIRC

i gotta tell ya, all this root talk is making me nervous.....how are they going to explain not finding her in an earlier search?

Me too BetteDavisEyes :tyou:

I do not know how the State and HHJP are handling this creature. Cindy and George...

how did they let her act like this? They had to have allowed and fell for all of this...this is crazy. Rick was right: they are the dumbest parents in the world.

I am none too happy with George and Cindy right now. They raised this monster. Yes, she is a monster of her own right but they HAD to have been letting her get away with this crap, that is insane. They cannot be normal themselves to have accepted this.

BBM & agreed

I think it's CA & GA who have the ability to "carry on as if nothing happened" as JB claimed about ICA. They're the ones who shove it all down and dissociate.

(not being rude, I don't know her name and this is what JimL calls her)

Lawyer Gaga has had her arms crossed all morning and shooting not so nice looks in ICA's direction.

Are you sure, doesn't she work for Mason?

I was willing to give her a splinter of doubt that she might be affected by this, until she popped up when CM was cross examining the last witness. She looked like her normal self while he was asking questions. As soon as JA started rebuttal-she assumed the position of distraught victim. I PRAY that the jury saw THAT!

I can't stand that Sunny Hostin. Why doesn't court tv get rid of her??? Or In Session. She sounds so stupid with her ridiculous theories.

What I noticed today, and I'll admit to doozing off from time to time, so, missed a lot I'm sure; but, wasn't she more emotional when the state was front and center than when one of her boys were up front?

I also noticed that "someone" appeared to pass my advice on to their client about her kleenex use and drooling into her hand/kleenex so that it will be wet.
Though, I still didn't see much "wetness" ~ she'll have to do some practicing.

I am sorry but I have to say again, my mind is BLOWN that Cindy and George allowed Casey to be with Caylee!

Let that crazy <modsnip> go off where ever she wants to go! But protect Caylee!

No excuse. None. :snooty: You KNOW Casey pulled this crap her WHOLE life!

someone said a 'jeanne' was sitting in the DT side of the audience. Who is jeanne?

Mitigation specialist - Jeanne Barrett.

So you're saying that you think cause of death is what people die of, and manner of death is what the autopsy finds?

Cause of death is the actual thing that caused the person to die, i.e stab wounds, bullet, etc, as found by autopsy. Manner is whether the cause was self-inflicted (suicide), homicide (caused by another) natural (disease or old age) or undetermined, when they can't say. Sometimes cause cannot be determined either but that is rare.

So you're saying that you think cause of death is what people die of, and manner of death is what the autopsy finds?

LOL! It is not my opinion it is a direct quote from an investigator. Cause and Manner of death are the legal terms that are used when an autopsy is done.

Autopsies are needed to find the cause of death -if there are no external signs of how someone died. Manner of death is the expert opinion of the Pathologist that does an autopsy.

An autopsy is not always done. If someone has been under a doctor's care for a terminal or serous illness, there is often no need for an autopsy.

eta: thank you cluciano, I had forgotten to list suicide.

No, you aren't lost...have you ever watched the last night of a season ender on TV where they mention something big but just leave you hanging so you will tune in next season? Well there you have it.

We got to the part in openings by Baez, of George standing yelling at ICA with a dead drowned Caylee in his arms....and then we cut to the teasers for the next stage, including Kronk, and late placing of remains, yabba, dabba doo-doo, but we didn't actually get to hear how exactly it all went down - according to the Defense Team.

IMO, she took off the blanket/shawl b/c she didn't need it anymore; the jury was leaving or left at that point. It isn't for comfort, it's for effect, IMO.

And as soon as recess is announced, she quickly goes into her *tense, jutting jaw and open mouth angry* demeanor. She was pissed. If she were really shaken and needed comfort, that shawl would have stayed on her. MO
