Ah! You could be correct one that! It looked like the deputies were looking at someone in gallery too! Thanks for the updates on the ongoing trial Wenwe! I'm taking your "discussion" and counting the sidebars and objections!! Great job!!!!!! :rocker:

I know I missed a few objections this morning (sorry)....so if you just go by mine it will not be an accurate count....fyi

thank you for the feedback ....that was my thought when I was expecting JA to have her admitted as an expert and he skipped over it (at the time it was happening)....that is just my assumption and I could have missed it.

Hopefully they'll call Tim Miller as a witness and he'll say the area was under water (as it was after torrential rains brought forth by Tropical Storm Fay) and that he didn't want to search with his equipment there while the water levels were too high for fear of ruining any evidence. Remember, Caylee was out there for at least 31 days before Tropical Storm Fay..before the area, which is low-lying like a retention pond, was drench...and that left plenty of time for the animals to get to her. Then the storm came before anyone really had an opportunity to search there. I remember because the storm happened before Texas Equusearch got out there, when some were just doing private searches.

I pray that they do that, he could also comment on how ICA behaved when he was there - bebopping around like she was going to a party- is how I think he described her- and the A's not letting him ask her for any information. ugh

probably, can they see her. I heard reports that it is hard to see her.

Sorry my response is late, frantically getting things done around here-- but, I don't think they have to lay eyes on her, they're being bombarded by her disgusting handiwork where Caylee is concerned, as well as her lies, her blaming her father and brother. Yep, I think they're disgusted. jmo

Cause is just that. What caused them to die- heart attack ,stroke, asphyxia, kidney failure for example.

Manner- homicide, accident, natural causes...

But the manner has to be determined by an autopsy? I'll leave you alone after this.

One more thing I have to get off my chest. So Cindy would rather fight with this unusual daughter of her's than just protect Caylee?

Yeah, Cindy loved Caylee but not as much as she hates Casey.

I think Cindy was fighting with Casey to protect her. I had long held the opinion that Cindy was unwilling to face the monster she helped create. When she took the stand, she not only saw it, she saw the horrific results. It was the first time I'd ever seen her face it all. And she was not only defeated, she knew. You know? I saw a woman on the stand facing the full balance of the events of the short life of her granddaughter, and the past three years.

A harridan is hard to live with, and the dysfunction which arises.....well.

Yep, the nano second she steps through the doorway, two or more deputies are waiting for her. She gets a through pat down for any contraband. Then the shackles and cuffs are placed on her before she can move a few steps. She's fortunate from the fall she took, NOT her fault either ( the elevator door did not come to a stop even with the floor) HHJP allowed her shackles to be removed immediately before she enters the courtroom. Other defendents are not.

Too bad they don't cavity search her too...she might stuff some unused tp in there for later.

Oh, the serial killer lover. oh yeah, she really helps the case.

No, that is a different one. lol You are thinking about Rosalie B. (I forget her last name.)

Jeanne Barrett has been the mitigation specialist since Andrea Lyons was a member of the defense. She is the main one and has worked on this case for at least 2 years now. Rosalie just entered during the jury selection. I doubt we will see much more of her.

No no - LOL not the same one. This is the Social Worker that I think Ms Lyon(s) brought in months ago- not the same Rosalie that showed up at the beginning of the trial.
Jinx - I owe you a coke 'Beach!

Before her remains were found, Baez knew that Casey had dumped Caylees body, he refused to talk about it since this would have been damaging to his client, so they allowed her body decompose as much as possible since this would make it harder to prove manner of death and give Casey leverage in court, once Caylees remains were found she knew the gig was up, that's why she freaked out big time in jail. :maddening:

I believe manner takes in all knowledge they have about the person and events surrounding the death.

In all fairness to CA, I don't see what more she could have done, really. ICA is an adult, was the legal parent of Caylee, and CA had never seen any signs that ICA had been abusing Caylee. What was she supposed to have done? Try to take the child away? Okay, but not an easy task. Especially with no evidence of abuse.

I imagine CA thought it best to try to work around ICA and at least try to keep Caylee and Casey under her roof so she could look over Caylee.

Is she the mitigation person who has been working with ICA for months? Her last name escapes for the moment.
Barrett, and in my post my iPad spelled it as mediation. I need to proof my posts when using this dang thing. :floorlaugh:

With all of the photo collages of Casey Anthony and Ted Bundy in people's sig lines I just had to look up some info on him- I couldn't resist bringing this over from another thread I posted in. (By the way Dragonlady has an unbelievably similar photo of ICA/Ted that I saw today for the very first time that totally freaked me out). For what its worth:

Oh my God! Look what I found on Ted Bundy- all of this occurred in the state of Florida (after his final killing spree):

When Ted Bundy was brought to trial he acted as his own lawyer. Ted managed to have the original judge removed due to prejudice, he won a change of venue from Tallahassee to Miami, and he managed to have his leg shackles removed so he could walk around the courtroom. In the end Ted was found guilty and sentenced to die.

Oh my goodness! I never knew these details! Wow

On IS, Dr Perper (ME) says "There is no reason why tape would be placed on a dead person". His interview was a little confusing, but I DID get this statement loud and clear!

Yes but there was obvious neglect and obvious mental issues with the Mother...those alone would be grounds for an emergency custody hearing.
