I wish there was an "ignore" function on the television for these shows. Everytime LKB, Geraldo, or Andrea Lyon opens her mouth my t.v. can switch to nails on a chalkboard as that would be more pleasant for me.

Well, partly, I am not buying that she loved Caylee all that much; she loved the reflected glory of looking like a good mother. And regardless of most people calling 911, this is Casey Anthony, clearly NOTHING normal about her, which I gathered from the trial alone. So I am just not sure it wouldn't have seemed like a good idea to her to use tape, etc... I don't see her calling 911 for anything unless someone else was with her when Caylee died whom she could put most of the blame on. So I do think she was alone when it happened.

CA has said that Caylee had a half brother and I believe that would be Mark's son he had with Tara?

Again, just things I've heard and am confused about. I've not thought about Mark being Caylee's father until I thought about the above.
Remember KC said 'we never put the babies on the phone' or something like that.

The plot thickens as I think Lee was heartbroken by Tara, could he have fathered a child with her? Then Caylee and ________ would be cousins.

do you really think the DT is saying that RK is part of the conspiracy? I'm not getting that from the OS. My take is that they are saying that RK found the body and then had control over the body from Aug - Dec since the OCSO did not properly investigate the scene for months, so therefore the findings/evidence/forensics at the body location are unreliable.

What I am sure about is that he had knowledge that Casey had withheld Caylee from Cindy in the past. So it appears this was not something new and that the A's may have misrepresented how many days Caylee had been gone from the house in the past.

see above. Yes, Mark knew, as others did, that CA lied to LE and Linda about the number of times Caylee was not sleeping in her own bed(s) at the As.

At the trial, I don't recall CA being asked that question.
She did say that she and KC looked at and downloaded the pictures taken that day of CA's dad at the old folk's home. Cindy stated they were happy.

Yes, in Casey's case, I could see it happening. Thinking, I better make this look like she was kidnapped, what do I know about kidnapping, ok, tape the mouth...just saying.

The DT is claiming that ICA had nothing (yep ZERO) part in Caylees death or discarding.

ICA couldn't have placed the duct tape if GA disposed of the body.

To believe that GA disposed of the child, we also have to believe that he put the body in ICAs car for a while (and the DT are claiming there was not a body in the trunk), then popped on some duct tape, and a heart shaped sticker and disposed of Caylee.

So why did GA want to make it look like a kidnapping/murder? How did he know about ICAs Zanny/Universal etc lies before he disposed of the baby?

Nah - GA was the wrong target for the DT. They should have chosen the more obvious (if you believe the abuse claims) and nervously laughing, lying to protect ICA, brother - LA would have made more senses, but still a tough sell.

Hit and runs are often not reported.

Unattended deaths are sometimes hidden.

So 100 percent of accidents are not reported.

Not all unreported deaths are murder.

But WHY would the jury even consider hit and runs or unattended deaths at this point? They have been given two scenarios and two only by the opposing sides. So there is no reason to look at other random choices. I think they would only be deliberating the truth of the two versions offered them.

I was a foster parent for a total of 17 years.We took medically fragile babies,for the most part.

It is disgusting what happens to children in this country EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I had a 5 week old with a broken femur.
Several shaken babies with brain damage and torn retinas,one toddler ,who called me momma upon arrival and been molested with hair styling implements.Babies who were left in bed nonstop with bottles so their heads were flat and new teeth rotted.
One who had meningitis,but was not taken to the dr until he was almost dead.Mom was high on crack.Now he is deaf,blind and completely brain damaged and tube fed.
One toddler who had been so deprived of food he would eat til he threw up.I was so ticked off at the special program he was enrolled in,they laughed at him because he was always hiding food. OMG ! He had been starved like an animal.
How many babies that were left home alone, born addicted to drugs or prenatally exposed to alcohol (the very worst,IME)? Lost count.

Yes,it's horrendous to think of Caylee suffering,but it's happening right this very minute,to another child,somewhere in our country.

I hadn't seen that missing child poster until today on this thread. It raises some questions for me, because it's not the first reference to June 9th.

In one of the 911 calls CA made on July 15, she reported that she hadn't seen her granddaughter since June 9th.

KC also made reference to June 9th, until LA corrected her during one of the jail visitations (which we saw in the video) and then there was that whole cryptic conversation between KC and LA that followed where KC told her brother "I had some time to think about that..." (paraphrasing).

In 2008, Father's Day was Sunday June 15.

June 9, 2008 was a Monday.

I don't understand how those two dates could have been so messed up by not only 1, but 2 people directly involved in this case, especially when it concerns something as crucial as a beloved missing child.

And come to find out - the correct date wasn't even on the missing child poster??!!

I don't understand this mix-up at all ?!?!
Because on the 911 call Casey very precisely states how many days she has been missing, and counting back it does not bring us back to the 9th June.

Casey Anthony: "My daughter has been missing for the last 31 days."
