ugh. I had to take the boychild to football practice and missed the tattoo guy. Didn't JP tell the jury yesterday that the defense could start as early as tomorrow? Why can they be allowed to push till thursday? why can't JP make them take someone out of order? delay delay delay, thats all they've done! grrrrr

We were ALL sure CA lied when she did the depos and folks there is just no graceful way to get out of lying or to make a jury believe you one way or the other once you have committed yourself BOTH ways. It is my belief they are going to have to throw CA's testimony out completely and simply rely on other testimony in the case (as a juror not as an attorney or other courtroom official you understand). LDB tried to clear up the 'misstatements' CA made in her depos that we all suspected were wrong and CA claimed "over time she now remembered better'.

It is true - she may know nothing about duct tape in their home - but in the depo she claimed she did.
It is true - the Winnie the Pooh blanket *may* have gone missing in May but can we believe that given her confrontational demeanor with LE throughout this entire case - the JCP receipts were never brought in - was another blanket purchased? when? why? by whom?
The fact is her memory is 'fractured' and she only remembers what she wants to when she wants to. Yes she was emotional at the time. She she was defensive about her family at the time; however, none of that changes the facts about the case.
Our feelings about the Anthony's are based on not only their testimony but their actions:
- giving LE the wrong hairbrush for DNA
- taking cash from ICA's wallet that we all KNOW CA knew was AH's and she never reimbursed AH
- throughout the investigation CA's wilingness to throw everyone (ICA's friends for the most part but acquaintance's as well and those that were on the perphery such as Texas Equasearch and several attornies) into the path of LE and media not for the sake of finding Caylee but to save ICA

We all see a mother's heartbreak come through in past testimony for Caylee by CA but she simply CANNOT change her personality. She is human and she isn't going to be able to do it. There are going to be good days and bad days - did she love Caylee - yes. Was she a great witness - no.

MOO

IMO ICA would not fit into her own clothes anymore. I have often wondered where she was getting her clothes and who was providing them for her.

I agree. I don't see what the point was in putting Cindy on the stand today.

I know. It seemed a little cruel at the end of a long process to put her there just to show her pictures of Caylee's clothes.

But she had to address certain things and she did so to the best of her ability and need to hold onto a little bit of hope. That can prove problematic, insofar as the state must now depend upon the jury being able to be as generous of spirit as you in regard to her motive for saying what she did.

Many folks have opinions and right now, only 12 will matter. But it is heartening to see someone continue to be there for Cindy's turmoil.

Beth on HLN says that CA paused and starred at ICA and ICA never looked at CA........
not on camera.......59 witnesses already............

I feel CA has a moral obligation to CAYLEE as her grandmother to tell the truth and to me it seems CA is playing both ends here and it may hurt her and ICA in the long run, cause it might come back and bite her and the jury may very well disregard her all of her testimony, because they will not know whether to believe her or not!

You seemed to have missed my questions: How do you know that Grammy and Lee were never in the car? How do you know that Cindy NEVER had longer brunette hair?

What did Cindy lie about? What did the jury hear that they might disregard?

tomorrow after state rests............DT going to argue for acquittal...............really?

I personally believe the jury will throw out the whole Family's testimony. They are not going to know who to believe and just like I said in an earlier post,The A'S playing both ends will come back and bite them..

The TH are debating if ICA will take the stand tomorrow..My opinion, she HAS to. If she does, I can't wait to hear what comes out of her mouth.

There were two Whitney canvas bags. One found at the site, and one found stashed in the Anthony garage inside of a black garbage bag with yellow ties; the same sort of black bag found at the dump site with the other canvas bag and Caylee's remains. The state was introducing evidence that one of these canvas bags had been in Caylee's room, either to store balls or toys.

What got confusing is her insistence that the one on the shelf was the one used for that purpose. I don't see any reason to have a bag tucked away like that if it was in fact proving a useful function elsewhere in the home.

itsyourworld -- Respectfully, I think the state was wanting Cindy to say the bag (the one that Caylee was eventually found in) was stashed in the garage. That HELPS their case, not hurt it. Of course, then they had to go over what was said at the depo, so an explanation could be offered. Not even considering anything else: How in the world could the round laundry bag that Caylee was eventually found in being stashed in the garage HURT the state's case? It doesn't, at all. In fact, as I said, the bag being in the garage would be better for the state than the bag being located in Caylee's room.

OT...

Chilly, it's good to see you posting again! I hadn't seen your posts in this forum for a while.

I wonder if that was caught on camera?

The producer looked back over the video to verify it. So yes, but that doesn't mean we will see it.

Cindy Tells Casey "I Love You" in Court

As Cindy stepped off the stand, she mouthed, "I love you" to Casey. But her daughter looked away.

Cindy took her seat next to her husband George, who put his arm around her.

With all respect, given that the hair found in the car had a death band, one could easily eliminate all of Cindy's relatives who are still alive as being the contributor.

I think Linda was preparing for if JB argued that the death band was "junk science". If he were able to convince the jury of that and the jury disregarded the death band... then who else could it belong to if they hair could have come from a live Anthony family member?

I think she was just covering all her bases... predicting where Jose might go.
