Bringing this over from the trial thread.

I remember this interview before CM joined the DT.

Can anyone link this interview and help out our friend, jmfstl? Please and thanks. :)

It is earlier on the trial thread for today

As to Cause of Death = Unknown
The state has admitted that the Manner of Death was a homicide of undetermined means and it is certain that Four not THREE plausible causes have been presented to the judge and the jury. Not only could Chloroform, Duct tape or a combination of the two have caused Caylee's death, there is another possibility and that is suffocation and heat exhaustion from being placed in the trunk of the car in the middle of June in FLORIDA.

All Four of these possibilities point to only one person, Caylee's mother.

I'm with Sleutherontheside...after listening to CM bloviate, I need bleach in my ears. Anyone else wanna hit? And after watching ICA get all cute and flirty with her DT, I think I need a shot in my eyes, too :P

I use this brand:

OMG!! IS just showed the video of Caylee at the nursing home. I am literally sick to my stomach. This is so so sad.

If the DT doesn't put ICA on the stand, then some of the facts they asserted in their opening statement will not be supported by any evidence whatsoever. The sole source would be the DT attorney questions and argument. They promised the jury these facts would be before them to consider. If ICA does not testify, then the prosecution will ask for a special instruction that DT attorney statements are not evidence and cannot be considered to support the DT theory of a pool drowning.

they have an uphill battle either way they go... and they can never *unring* that bell they rung in the opening statement about Casey knowing Caylee was dead, etc (even though they cannot consider it as evidence)
:twocents:

Exactly, and they can't unring the statement they made that Caylee drowned that day accidently. They can't support that either.

As for the other statements about GA and LA and Kronk, if they don't address them the jury might just be left scratching their heads and saying to themselves, but wait didn't they say...

I see placing KC at the scene as a mistake. JMHO. I see the statement of accidental drowning as an affirmative defense and they've already said it...so how can you unsay it?

JMHO

Can the jury asks to review the tapes again during deliberations?

Bill S said CM got an AA+ on his appeal motion today :(

Watching the actual last video of Caylee on in session makes me sob for that little girl and I can only hope and pray that this is the last video that the SA shows in their Closing. That would do it for me if I was on the jury...

About the inmate lowering her chair...

I am the same height as ICA is listed at, 5'1" and sitting in chairs or anything else like that make it hard for my feet to touch the ground which gets VERY uncomfortable. :blushing: So I can see why she would do it and why her chair would be lower than that of the rest of the DT. (Please no tomatoes!)

I also only weigh 112lbs. I look way too thin (almost anorexic) at this weight and believe me I get comments ALL.THE.DARN.TIME about how I need to gain weight. I can guarantee ICA is no longer 105lbs period. (If she ever actually WAS 105)

Curious tho, after the first (or second) day (and after the state's motion) we haven't heard another word about that scenario...or at least the abuse. I really wonder where this will go. Any bets on who gets called first? I'm betting GA )and the "I would do anything, even lie") testimony to be first up. I wonder how they''ll spin that....

I would also like to add that it only takes one for child abuse....I would also like to point out those who state she was a wonderful mother, provided everything...well they are young and only see what is projected to them ---- anyone can be view wonderful only a short period of time...she didn't provide anythng at all....

Yes, I have watched her recently too because I LOVE how she SPITS ICA's name. Her hate is fun when I agree with her, yes.

I stopped listening to her about a year ago, but have recently started back because she is one of the few on HLN not drinking the koolaid. She was cracking me up last night when she kept mouthing 'I Love You' like CA did when she left stand yesterday. :floorlaugh: I kept thinking the sound on my tv went out. :floorlaugh:

In Session playing the video of Caylee on 6/15/08

((((CAYLEE))))

This video tears me up every time. :tears: "You tired papa?"

I'm struck how even at age 2 1/2, this baby girl had more concern for those she loved than her selfish excuse for a mother. :maddening:

I was just watching an episode of Nancy Grace on YouTube where JB is talking about this great lead they have on where Caylee is, and that they expect to find her alive, etc.

I wish he had said when ICA told him Caylee "drowned" and all that.

From an online article stating "Can Lawyers Lie?":

"But what about when the lawyer isn’t under oath? The American Bar Association’s Model Rules of Professional Conduct states that a lawyer “shall not knowingly make a false statement of material fact.” In other words, lawyers aren’t supposed to lie--and they can be disciplined or even disbarred for doing so. But notice, the key word here is “knowingly.” A lawyer cannot “knowingly” lie."

So was JB lying when he said that they were looking for "Zanny", or was he lying when he made his opening statements? I know opening statements aren't evidence or fact, but the whole thing still makes me want to scream. At some point he was lying, IMO.

Just can't help but wondering if ICA is sitting back there making plans for this afternoon when she is released. :great::great:

Did Tony change his phone number? And they still sell Velveeta right? Party time!

I have to go, but I will leave you with these thoughts:-
http://eggtreenews.wordpress.com/

THANK YOU!!!! I nearly pee'd my pants.

This inability to accurately portray a mother who gives a (edited) has left her an akwardly frazzled mess of a tiny trollop in a booster seat at the defense table. In grownup clothes.

the jury is not suppose to consider opening statements as evidence on either side.

In Session playing the video of Caylee on 6/15/08

((((CAYLEE))))

I just lost it when I heard her little voice and watched her tighten her pony tail as she read. Her grandma and grandpa, her uncle Lee, they didn't even get to say goodbye no wonder it was so hard for them to accept she really was gone.

Caylee was stolen away from them but there is no Zanny. Her mother destroyed her own family. No family is perfect but no family deserves what this spiteful little brat is putting them through. Caylee must have been so scared and felt so alone
