The TH's need to be called out on all the wrong information they are putting out there. Please someone, start a thread about the TH's that give out wrong information, listing their name, the show they were on and the incorrect information they are spewing along with the correct information. This way the TH's can vist the thread to see just how WRONG they are. Maybe this would shut them up or at least they would think twice about giving out false information.

How does the defense justify what Baez said in OS to all of the cases and arguments just made by CM? I get the impression even CM knows that malarkey in Baez's OS story is not to be believed.

I stopped listening to her about a year ago, but have recently started back because she is one of the few on HLN not drinking the koolaid. She was cracking me up last night when she kept mouthing 'I Love You' like CA did when she left stand yesterday. :floorlaugh: I kept thinking the sound on my tv went out. :floorlaugh:

I also got a hoot out of watching JVM with Mike Brooks as one of the "Brady Bunch" talking heads!! JW was spewing there was no evidence of cause of death, blah blah blah, and Mike Brooks in his little lower right hand corner box just put his hands up to his mouth and made a gesture of putting duct tape over his mouth. That's all he said. For some reason it cracked me up.

During Cheney's argument I kept thinking of Razzle Dazzle from Chicago the movie.

Give 'em the old razzle dazzle
Razzle Dazzle 'em
Give 'em an act with lots of flash in it
And the reaction will be passionate
Give 'em the old hocus pocus

Give 'em the old double whammy
Daze and dizzy 'em
Back since the days of old Methuselah
Everyone loves the big bambooz-a-ler

Of course, he wasn't as entertaining as Richard Gere.
MOO

BBM

No, but he's got the Methuselah part down. :D

Will the tape of Caylee at the nursing home be shown? Seems like not enough Caylee pictures shown

  • #287
I just lost it when I heard her little voice and watched her tighten her pony tail as she read. Her grandma and grandpa, her uncle Lee, they didn't even get to say goodbye no wonder it was so hard for them to accept she really was gone.

Caylee was stolen away from them but there is no Zanny. Her mother destroyed her own family. No family is perfect but no family deserves what this spiteful little brat is putting them through. Caylee must have been so scared and felt so alone

I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY hope the state plays that video at closing.

the jury is not suppose to consider opening statements as evidence on either side.

That's correct, but it was still a huge screw up by the DT, because now the jury will want to hear about evidence that Caylee drowned. HHJP has even ASKED the DT a few times throughout this trial where their evidence is that Caylee drowned.

Curious tho, after the first (or second) day (and after the state's motion) we haven't heard another word about that scenario...or at least the abuse. I really wonder where this will go. Any bets on who gets called first? I'm betting GA )and the "I would do anything, even lie") testimony to be first up. I wonder how they''ll spin that....

DT could only cross on what the state had directly examined (so anything else would have been outside of the scope I believe?)

watching HLN with Robin Meade. When they went to commercial they had a clip of KC walking into court and sitting down. She does put her chair down several notches. Trying to look small and innocent. I know this has been debated whether her chair is lower. It is. Caught on tape.

whether there were prints or not we'll never know as the tape was in such bad shape after all the months underwater. this is how JB et al can toy around with the idea of kronk and GA being responsible for dumping the remains. no prints.

I don't think anyone can wear gloves when applying duct tape. I am still curious about how the tape was cut. I am betting that the steaknife from the kitchen was the method. Sure wish CA didn't take the knife from the vehicle and wash it...:banghead

If ICA left the steaknife in the car, I wonder if she left the tape in it also.

About the inmate lowering her chair...

I am the same height as ICA is listed at, 5'1" and sitting in chairs or anything else like that make it hard for my feet to touch the ground which gets VERY uncomfortable. :blushing: So I can see why she would do it and why her chair would be lower than that of the rest of the DT. (Please no tomatoes!)

I also only weigh 112lbs. I look way too thin (almost anorexic) at this weight and believe me I get comments ALL.THE.DARN.TIME about how I need to gain weight. I can guarantee ICA is no longer 105lbs period. (If she ever actually WAS 105)

I was just thinking that earlier. She really is short and lowering the chair would be easier on her knees and feet.

TH's don't mind wrong info, it is all about ratings and money. The more controversial, the more people watch.

That is one big reason I am happy not have have cable t.v. I don't even have to skim by it anymore.

THANK YOU!!!! I nearly pee'd my pants.

This inability to accurately portray a mother who gives a (edited) has left her an akwardly frazzled mess of a tiny trollop in a booster seat at the defense table. In grownup clothes.

She said "it was as good as Pirates of Penzance"....

:floorlaugh:

My reference to PRetty Woman. I have a strange sense of humor.

I would also like to add that it only takes one for child abuse....I would also like to point out those who state she was a wonderful mother, provided everything...well they are young and only see what is projected to them ---- anyone can be view wonderful only a short period of time...she didn't provide anythng at all....

:twocents: Well here goes...I think Casey did love Caylee but as a little sister. Cindy and George really raised and provided for Caylee. And when Cindy and George could not be available to babysit Caylee and it interfered in Casey's plans that's when she really resented Caylee... Caylee cramped her style. It was like your parents forcing you to watch your sibling when you really didn't want to..................................

Ok - to pass the time, for any interested...here is a great site that explains the anatomy of a criminal trial. Where we are now is the Motion to Dismiss...but just looky looky at what is in store AFTER the defense ATTEMPTS to put on their CIC..

http://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/criminal-trial-procedures-overview-29509.html

snip from your link: ((thank you! that is a great read!))

Opening statements. The prosecution and then the defense make opening statements to the judge or jury. These statements provide an outline of the case that each side expects to prove. Because neither side wants to look foolish to the jury, the attorneys are careful to promise only what they think they can deliver. In some cases, the defense attorney reserves opening argument until the beginning of the defense case.

Exactly, and they can't unring the statement they made that Caylee drowned that day accidently. They can't support that either.

As for the other statements about GA and LA and Kronk, if they don't address them the jury might just be left scratching their heads and saying to themselves, but wait didn't they say...

I see placing KC at the scene as a mistake. JMHO. I see the statement of accidental drowning as an affirmative defense and they've already said it...so how can you unsay it?

JMHO

I agree, and that's why I'm a little confused - sort of like the "mental health, but not mental health" scenarios they've been insinuating. It's a curious little line they are walking. CM definitely stated they will not be offering an affirmative defense so...where, exactly, are we? It'll be interesting:crazy:

I can't stay for afternoon court.

I just wanted to share that my son (17) had walked into the room to speak to me the other night while I was watching NG.

He saw Caylee on the screen (she was quite young and in the Anthony's livingroom moving around it was a video) and he stopped and just watched and he said---Isn't she just precious?

Then he stopped immediately and said--was, wasn't she precious. She's dead.

I turned off TV because I can always see NG but he wanted to tell me something and I always stop and listen. I always have.

Just sharing.
