This is so sad to think about, you guys, but it's just past 4:30 EST. Three years ago today, almost to the minute, ICA's phone activity stopped for those two ominous hours.

Gotta say that the day was not a total waste due to some hilarious posts! My fav was JB's artwork explained! I was still giggling in the shower later and I am NOT of the "giggle age"! The only saving grace of today was watching Baez on the hop trying to get through those witnesses when the state kept saying "no questions" LOL Baez was earning his money then and was starting to get flustered. Compare Baez to the elegant and articulate Ms LDB entering evidence and it's hard not to look at Baez as the work experience student having a lark. Whew, day 1 over.

I think that Dr. Spitz is on for tomorrow...so did JB not want to start with him today?...cuz he was already in Orlando, so why not.

So, Casey came around here, and went back and then George said...and then Casey cried and cried and cried(although hours later a Blockbuster and for 31 days and 3 years she has not been able to cry because George molested her)and then borrowed the shovel...why?

If George was at the house, why not ask George for a shovel?

Baez did no such thing. Not at all. He was disjointed and pointless.

He attacked the sticker, but who cares about the sticker - that's like pointing out that a painting is crooked in a house that's on fire.

What else...oh, the Lee Anthony paternity test, which was a good question, but his only good point the entire day. And his own former FBI witness had to admit her testimony was irrelevant.

JB's defense is all about his ego. He's so worried about Dr. Vass making a penny off his "invention". That's all he cares about.

I bet when he gets George on the stand all he'll ask him is about the meany weany things George has said about Jose and his ability to defend Casey.

I really hope that JB starts to bring it soon. I do believe that ICA is guily but with the OS that JB gave he has got to do something or I don't even feel that ICA is getting a chance at all. He has done nothing to defend her IMO. If this is all he was gonna be able to produce why all the razzle dazzle in his OS. He has to do SOMETHING!

But if he has nothing he can't bring something.

They do. They only post so many a minute and they are usually taking in such an enormous number that it's hard to follow anything on the actual "thread".

eww. That just hit me. If we are to think Casey knew Caylee died in a accident...and how she had that shirt all tied in the front...

Those Floridian courts treat themselves like queens (or kings). Hey hardly work a 4 hour day but get full time wages at the expense of other poor people that have given up 2 months of their lives for their system. I would be up in arms if I lived in Florida. They should be lucky to get 1 hour for lunch. Who gets 90 minute lunches but State and Public workers?? No wonder the states are all broke.

Especially when you factor in 1/2 hour long sidebars, 15 mins recess, and 1 1/2 hour lunch. Out of an 8 hour day - how much time is actually spent on witness testimony? Not much!

I am sorry. I want to see Casey hang but I think the defense did a darn good job in putting down evidence in the States case. I hope they can rehabilitate themselves. I hope none of you think this is a slam dunk for the State or you may be shocked and unhappy at the end. I pray that Caylee gets justice! I hate to see this witch get away with this.

I think you may have a point -- up to a point. I'm not sure we'll see Murder 1, I will say that. But I have confidence that she will spend a significant portion of her life behind bars, and that's what matters to me.
