one has to have a REASON to perform these tests...and since the MOTHER of the child NEVER desired to identify the FOB.....


And as far as a reason to test anybody as a criminal..well, nobody met that criteria except the female mother

So...what in Hades was today about? I am still scratching my head. An entire first day from the DT and I feel like NOTHING came out of it. It's like have a bunch of puzzle pieces but no picture to tell me how to put them together. UGH!

Actually, now that I think about it, I don't care. Let it be a bunch of nothing. I can concentrate more on Caylee that way, and not ICA and her defense. That's the way it should be today!

I remember, after certain very powerful days for the SA, IS TH's would say, " Of course they had a good day, this is their time to lay out THEIR case, they better have a good day. But wait until the Defense has their day,"

One of the tweets from media (I think it was Ashleigh Banfield) said she had spoken with 3 FBI employees in the hall today and they said the FBI pays for them to travel to trials.

Assuming that is true, I guess BS didn't realize that.

We,the taxpayers ,fund the FBI. It's a Govt agency,so every expense they have is paid for by the taxpayers (US)

If I was on the jury I feel sure I would have fallen asleep. After all, I am at a ripe old age of in my 50s. I fell asleep here in front of my computer and finally went in for a little nappypoo.

I just heard earlier tape of JB asking the witness if he was asked to perform a paternity test of LA. Question was never allowed to be asked I don't think. I bet JB knew they would argue to that, but he figured get it out there so the jurors hear it anyway. Sneak the question in is what they do.

Make cuts in the roots (after cutting the carp down), poor lots of salt on them on a dry day. I mean lots of salt. Plain old cheap table salt. Or big bags of salt for canning veggies if you can get those there. Leave the salt there, it will eventually rain away.

Works for tree stumps, weeds, anything, should work for bamboo.

ETA AGAIN: You can also plant there the next year when all is gone, or the following if you still have to treat for shoots the next season.

This is one I haven't heard of. Someone told me to get baking soda and use that as well as using it on poison ivy. I bought 5 lb bags from Sams Club. A waste of money.

But I am going to try your salt method. I like the fact it isn't poison to the kids or dogs.

IMO, the problem with this and also the reason the state did NOT bring some of the evidence in is because of Cindy A.

According to Cindy A., the only time in ICA's life Cindy even raised her voice to ICA was when ICA said Caylee was taken by the nanny.

Cindy was asked point blank by LE if ICA had ever stolen money from her, and she said "no". We've seen the bank statements that put the lie to that.

I think the state has had to be very careful what they put in that requires backup from Cindy, because it could easily blow up in their faces.

I'm angry that the jurors were made to sit there all day and listen to this drivel.
Honestly, I wanted to cut my own head off with the testimony about the 2 extra trash bags...2 from the ME and 2 from the remains site?
I actually said, "OMG. Calling this witness was a waste. Huge Waste. Honey, I love you, but you really need to go back to VA."

I was just thinking about lawyers commenting on this case. I wish they would have a lay person giving their opinion, someone who has been following the case just like the jurors. The jurors aren't lawyers and may not pick up on things that a more judicial-type person would.

I was thinking this last night. The talking heads don't follow the case. They know surface stuff, which amounts to what anyone who first heard of a case would see. They listen to a couple of colleagues and spin spin spin.

I don't mind talking heads - ones who know what they're talking about. I do mind the other jokers though.

Interesting. IMO the defense did an excellent job discounting the sticker evidence. If I was on the jury, I wouldn't even consider it.

I respectfully disagree. Until Baez brought it up again, it was a wash and I think he only brought much more attention to it. Just my opinion, but sometimes weak evidence is best left alone.

Well..I have been watching Vinnie P. on HLN..and even Beth Karas and Sunny Hostens are doubting JB right now..Neither of them thought he made any inroads, and agree JB has to prove to the jury whatever his theory was reagrdless..He made a promise in his OS to prove what his CIC will show...
Well, so far he has bored the jury to death and proven what? that they did paternity tests for Lee ( NEG)..

JB missed the chance to capitalize on the meaning and emotion of this day ( 3yr anniversary for Caylee's murder)...Not wise...then of course he doesnt have proof....Its looking more and more that he will have to put her majesty Ms. KC Anthony on the stand ( which is suicide) in order to show George was involved in hiding Caylee's body and possibly disposed in that critter infested woods, flooded for months and completely dismembered and made gone save for bones..:rocker: HUGE decision to make...

Im sorry wasnt impressed at all with JB's efforts today!!..Though will say he did expose the person who contaminated that duct tape with her DNA..Kudo's

As ridiculous as I think the DT is, I still don't think they will put ICA on the stand, because like you said, it IS suicide, plus, they spent the first 2 weeks of this trial showing what a huge liar she is, so why would the jury believe anything that came out of her mouth?

I didn't know about the balloon launch today at 3:00. I would have stopped at the Hallmark store for some lavender/purple balloons and sent them soaring into the sky in Caylee's honor. Maybe the MI contingent can do this on the day that the trial ends.

Vinnie P was just talking about the "alledged fight" that KC & CA had the night before Caylee went missing. CA was telling the story of watching the video of her father and Caylee that Father's day night after the baby's bath...

She said that she and Casey were crying while watching the video...

So when did she discuss grandma SP's stolen money?? Did CA cry because KC could be so heartless to steal from an old man?? Did it escalate?

Just wondering if any anyone knows when CA confronted KC about that theft?

Those Floridian courts treat themselves like queens (or kings). Hey hardly work a 4 hour day but get full time wages at the expense of other poor people that have given up 2 months of their lives for their system. I would be up in arms if I lived in Florida. They should be lucky to get 1 hour for lunch. Who gets 90 minute lunches but State and Public workers?? No wonder the states are all broke.

I am a Floridian, born and raised and it does get me up in arms quite a bit when I think of the tremendous expense for this type of trial. But, on the other hand, I would personally be willing to pay any amount of money to see that there is complete and total justice for Caylee Anthony....no matter what it takes.

I feel like Linda got Caylee mentioned today. Casey was in rare form as she had to steal any energy away from Caylee.

A guy who was at the trial said, "you have to see it in person, you have to see her expressions in person..."

And, bless those who let a balloon go for Caylee today, and I am sure Caylee would share those balloons with all the missing and abused children. Bless them again for such a beautiful expression of belief in goodness and love. I needed that after today.

Watching and listening to the defense makes me feel awful. I read an article about HHJP and the "black widow" he said she was "evil." Seems HH does not have another word for it either...
