Not much on 3 year anniversary, but OH BOY! Did you hear that they did a paternity test to see if the uncle was really UncleDaddy?

I get what you're saying, but in all fairness, that subject, IMO, was beaten to death in here, too. It went on and on until the report was released showing Lee was not the father, and then it still came up from time to time.

So, these THs, who are so well-versed and well educated on this case (snort), I guess they have to get it out of their systems, too.

I respectfully disagree. Until Baez brought it up again, it was a wash and I think he only brought much more attention to it. Just my opinion, but sometimes weak evidence is best left alone.

The jury asked to see the sticker. To my knowledge it's the only piece of evidence they have handled so far. Baez had to address it in his case and I thought he did a great job.

I know a lot of people here don't want to admit Baez does anything well, but today he did, with this particular witness and this particular piece of evidence, IMO.

JB said in his OS that Lee had been tested for paternity of Caylee. Why are the TH's making such a big deal out of it. The jury already knows this if they believe Jose.

This is so very sad that they bring once again for the entire World to hear, that her brother was tested for Paternity, and it was negative, why do they not try to bring in the Pros that they could not find out little Caylee true father, remember she let for many months think that Jesse G was the father, until his father for what ever reason, had his son Jesse take a Pat Test, and there agin back then lie, lie, he was not!!

Then she told the police that Caylee father died 2 years ago when she was leading them on her wild chase, this should be brought up some how, as to what she would do to get whatever she wanted!!

I didn't know about the balloon launch today at 3:00. I would have stopped at the Hallmark store for some lavender/purple balloons and sent them soaring into the sky in Caylee's honor. Maybe the MI contingent can do this on the day that the trial ends.

They are so beautiful,but when they come down they can kill sealife.

I feel like Linda got Caylee mentioned today. Casey was in rare form as she had to steal any energy away from Caylee.

A guy who was at the trial said, "you have to see it in person, you have to see her expressions in person..."

And, bless those who let a balloon go for Caylee today, and I am sure Caylee would share those balloons with all the missing and abused children. Bless them again for such a beautiful expression of belief in goodness and love. I needed that after today.

Watching and listening to the defense makes me feel awful. I read an article about HHJP and the "black widow" he said she was "evil." Seems HH does not have another word for it either...

When she was laughing it up this morning to start, and HHJP was standing behind her, I think he was taking a good look. Someone posted a profound picture of her trying to calm down as she realized he was right behind her. I think he may have figured out what she is, and it ain't good.

Chiquita, you reminded me of the moment after one of the breaks, before the jury was brought in, when ICA was flirting and fidgeting and giggling with her team... and His Honor magically appeared in the doorway behind her, and just watched her. When she noticed him there, her demeanor did a 180.

His bemused expression reminded me of a teacher coming in the back of the classroom and watching the kids misbehave, until they all settle down. But there's always that one joker who's the last to figure out that they are "busted" and just keeps it up...

I thought JG said that KC wanted him to take the paternity test just to make sure, even though I'm sure she knew he was not the father, according to the dates of when she became involved with him.

Ya'll might have missed this. Jeff on cross came back and asked the FBI gal, did OCSO, or the state of Florida ask for the paternity test. And the answer was NO. She stated it was Nick Savage who inquired whether a paternity test could be performed by the FBI.

I remember hearing that a guy by the name of Eric Baker was known to have died. Was it ever enquired to his family if he knew KC?

Maybe you are right he needed to address it, but the fact remains, it was brought up again and it is quite unclear as to the origin - yet one can never have reasonable doubt in the case based on it, nor could they totally exclude it as possible. Just sayin, sometimes weak evidence that is not the most important to the state's case is best left alone. It furthers' nothing on his opening statement which I feel he has to try and prove to some degree because if he can, that could create reasonable doubt. The sticker, in my humble opinion, is only a puzzle piece but not significant to the State's case. I don't have a problem with Baez, but frankly, I think CM is far more effective in defending Casey. Baez loses me sometimes, and asks too many questions that backfire when he has made a salient point.

further thought: so why no paternity tests on all the guys she slept and cohorted with during that time? why just her dad and brother? If I were the state I would emphasize this!
