I think that is the main reason that the FBI checked out Lee for paternity. Casey lied about who the father was, giving out two names of DEAD guys. So the FBI would obviously think she was hiding something. Oh, and the name 'Caylee' being a hybrid of Casey/Lee is kind of odd and creepy.

Maybe either the father totally dissed her and wanted nothing to do with her and that's why she doesn't want him to be known, because she doesn't want him to tell why he didn't want her? Or perhaps a teacher from school she'd been having an affair with? It could have lasted after high school? Just hypothesizing. I'd really like to know, even though it doesn't matter much to the case. IMO.

After all the anticipation...today was such a let-down.

It was like sleeping with the guy you've had a massive crush on for years only to find out he's the worst lover ever!

Nothing personal, but that was the worst possible analogy when speaking of Baez.

Then she said that both men died on the way to the birthday party because I definitely remember the other gentleman died died while going there. Neither month matches IRC. I thought they said EB died in Kentucky. Frankly I think she searched for deaths that she could make fit her story.

Jesus Ortiz?

do we think he will ever really get there??? LOL:rocker: although he did plow thru his witnesses today... (in the afternoon that is)

Well that's better than them plowing over ... which is exactly what they are doing to GA and RK.

We already know GA denied the abuse. Lee was not asked under oath if he did. The DT brought up Lee today but not George. I'm sure George will be hammered on the stand later.

I wonder if Lee will fall on the sword for Casey and admit to abusing her when he was under 18. Due to his age, he would not be prosecuted. I know this sounds crazy but nothing surprises me with this family. We never heard Lee deny the rumor except through his attorney and it was a weak denial at best.

I wonder if Lee would take it to the extreme and corroborate Casey's story about George. It seems like George was/is the odd man out in that family.

IMO

I don't know why so many people imply that this family is so weird. Except for KC It seems the rest of them are normal.

Hi all, can someone pleeeeeease tell me in a nutshell what happened when Contaminating<modsnip> FBI lady was on the stand ---> to the close of the day? Nothing major, just which witnesses and if there was any info gathered (unlikely as it is) by JB that made you go "hmmm"????

Thank you tons if anyone can catch me up I'd be so appreciative!!!

Those Floridian courts treat themselves like queens (or kings). Hey hardly work a 4 hour day but get full time wages at the expense of other poor people that have given up 2 months of their lives for their system. I would be up in arms if I lived in Florida. They should be lucky to get 1 hour for lunch. Who gets 90 minute lunches but State and Public workers?? No wonder the states are all broke.

Actually most of the "employees" only take a 1 hour lunch, or less. For the judge - he uses the other time to catch up on phone calls and other business that needs to be dealt with THAT day. The attorneys (both state and defense) spend a considerable amount of time reviewing the case law the judge gives them, going over notes, revising strategy, preparing for the next witnesses, etc. They are lucky if they are eating and sleeping at all.

The jury would probably like a shorter lunch so they could move through the trial faster, but honestly, I think the jury deserves a 1.5 hr. lunch. They work hard, have to sit in those chairs for hours at a time, listen to complicated and sometimes very confusing testimony and they have the defendant's life in their hands. Not to mention it is probably difficult to get 20 people to a restraunt, get them seated, have them order, get their orders on the table, let them eat, round them all back up, get them back to the courthouse and in their seats within an hour.

The court is not wasting any money. It is the defendant, that refuses to confess that is wasting the Florida taxpayers' dollars.

Was it said that the pants that were questioned about today that were tested were worn by KC on June 16th? If so, how do they know she wore them on that day or whatever day?

According to GA's statement to LE, and they were the pants found in the back of the Pontiac.

For whoever asked for the pic of the HJBP watching the defendant 's exuberant behavior on the anniversary of the disappearance and death of her two and 3/4 year old daughter, Caylee.

Wow!

I just reviewed some of the texts between TL and ICA on June 15th until 3:22 a.m. In one of them they went as follows, TL to ICA "I love you"., ICA to TL "I love you too", TL to ICA, "OK, class time, BELLA MIA", (If I recall correctly, TL was Italian. Wonder if that's where she picked up that little nugget. Obviously not mourning. These chats are telling it all. JMO hope the prosecution has this

Thank you for that awesome post, except for one thing: During the days the jury is listening to testimony (and going in and out like a Pop Tart :floorlaugh:) I heard HHJP say that the jury has lunch at the courthouse. He makes 'special' arrangements for Friday evenings and the weekends.

So, GA stated that those were the pants KC wore on June 16th? Was it ever confirmed if the clothes he said Caylee was wearing on the 16th were the clothes that they found on her or not?

Good article but lost the heck out of me.

in a nutshell (I am a verified nurse)

1)shovel: touch dna found at a barely above threshold level.. could not even tell if it was male or female: all that was tellable was an X which is present in males and females: thusly: NOTHING FOUND

2)duct tape: was contaminated by fbi specialist: she admits to it... okay great.. also no other dna found on the duct tape

3)Lee and George are NOT the father of Caylee

4)the rest of the allele analysis was for show and confusion but basically none of the alleles or the locci really mattered as she said nothing was conclusive.. Nothing...

eta: I understand their arguments and this is just my opinion but they made no headway here imhoo... except to introduce paternity testing by LE request ((which actually concerns me))
:twocents:

That's a great picture.

Am I crazy? Or was there a similar picture taken last week of him looking at her? I thought someone had it as an avatar.

You're not crazy-I couldn't resist HHJP's glance at the alledged killer!!:furious:
