A very good day. One entire day for the DT completely wasted, and then we have Mr. Vasco giving a press conference that there was no way he could have been in contact with George during the time frame the DT alleges. He didn't even have that phone number at the time.

You know what? TH is not worthy of being a bug on Dr. Vass's or Dr. Haskell's shoe!!!! I am INCENSED he thought he could make a comment about either of those well experienced, highly respected men! OMG!!!! He had to be that student that misses classes and begs to turn things in beyond the due date. No way was he a GOOD student of Dr. Haskell!

But JA, is my HERO!!!! Now go crawl back under the rock where JB found you, TH. I hope you've had the arrogance slapped out of you today. Not a good way to start out a career. I bet Haskell is so ASHAMED of you right now!

Still can't get over his smug statement that Dr. Vass, a forensic anthropologist, is NOT an anthropologist.

Yes but by Golly he is gonna let JB keep re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic....CM pinching nose as he knows the DT strategy stinks as much as that car trunk (IMO)

And Ashton clearly decided to call a halt to the charity-lenience he'd been demonstrating and to drag this farce to the grown up/professional level demanded by the murder of a helpless child. Good for him

Whew... I'm essssxausted after this day of trial! And what do we have to show for it? Other than a couple of really good smack downs by JA, a big, fat "0".

The bailiffs must have gotten word about ICA's lollygagging. They get her right out of there now - as it should be. I noticed that she was watching one of the bailiffs out of the tops of eyes (in that creepy way) and went to grab a notebook in an effort to look busy, but she was twarted and whooosh - off she went.

I sense a young adult,not unlike the defendant, who enjoys pizzing off authority figures.
He was figuratively giving the finger to Vass and Haskell.

I wish I could stay for the fun stuff, but I need to get off of my knees, so I'm going to bed early. I just wanted to thank our wonderful Mods for the :great: work they do and to let them know that they are truly appreciated. The board I left (which I WILL NOT mention) only had one Mod and you had to contact them through email, if there was a problem. So our Mods are APPRECIATED, and I know they have to make Tricia proud!! Love you guys!!

I noticed that too. She seems to like to hang for a bit and yak with her team. The guards close in now quickly after court is in recess and they take her out. If I am not mistaken i think it is the reason she remains seated for as long as she can so she can linger. Must be nice to be out of the cell.Too bad she can't join the team for Martinis after a long day in court.

I think HHJP may have said something to the baliff about KC lingering too long.

One of my favorite moments today was TH saying he saw salami in the photo.

Then JA goes to get that item, shows it to him. Asks him what it is. A PIECE IF PAPER!

Geez, the difference between the State's expert witness and Defense expert witnesses is overwhelming. I know the State has more money to work with, but it's almost embarrassing to see how personable, confident, engaging, honest the State's experts were and then we have....well- Defense "experts".

Bill S. said JA should have mentioned that Haskell was his teacher, but I'm thinking JA did NOT want the jury to associate their expert witness with this joke guy. I love how JA basically laughed this guy off the stand at the end. ha

Darn - will get back to what you all have to say about today's testimony - being on the West Coast I have to cram eight hours into three hours left in the work day. Sigh - but I'm very glad I did not miss today.

Is there something mentally defective with the defenses witnesses? I mean seriously, they all say Caylee was dead somewhere else and then moved. There is ONE place and ONE place only that there is evidence of a dead body - ICA's CAR.
