He did say that, but JA got him to admit he never saw the "trunk" only photos, and he identified a piece of paper as "salami", in the evidence photo. Though he stated the car still smelled after 2 years, he denied there was a decomposed body there . .*&^%$^&*

I do wonder if/how the outline of Caylee's body in a fetal position, in the trunk stain will be brought in by the State. For me, it is one of the most damaging pieces of evidence besides the smell which places the baby in the car.

The fact that he had been contacted on Dec.11th before Caylee's remains had been identified is huge.

Does the state have any evidence showing the stain is connected with decomp in any way? If so, do you have a link? (I haven't been able to find one yet.) My impression is that the stain tested negative. I would love to be wrong tho!

Re: no grass and decomp

A man died in a field that was right by where we are rode our bicycles. For ages we hurried through the area because something smelled so bad (Texas, summer). Then someone found the body (Think Stand By Me--King). We all almost scraped our toes riding over to sneak into the field to look. Off course he was gone by that time, but his total outline, spread eagled, was there and remained there, in a field of high grass, as long as I rode by there.

if I was on that jury and another juror offered anything this witness had to say as evidence, I would immediately interrupt and inject this fact and say that imo nothing this expert might say could be believed because of this LIE.

and i would do it everytime any other juror brought up this expert.

noone believes this IS POSSIBLE.

NOONE>

In fact, what he stated was that the trunk still smelled of garbage after 2 years.

I find it difficult to believe that any container which only held non-organic items and only held trash (paper, plastic, metals, etc.), would still, after 2 years of sitting closed up, would STILL smell of "garbage."

That entire line of testimony from TH was a bought and paid for statement that holds absolutely no credence in my book.

And I would venture to guess, that some of those middle-aged women who are sitting on that jury are going to come to the exact same conclusions that I did.

HLN just did a play-back of JA's cross when he made the "pig in a blanket" statement. I noticed JB was standing to the left behind JA. This would be close to the Jury Box.Why does HHJP allow this?

The pig decomposition photo was on JB's low-tech easel - not on the juror's monitors.

Unless I missed it - I don't think a juror stepped down & threw a coat over the easel.

So any allegations that jurors have been covering up their monitors with their coats did not refer to today's testimony.

nevertheless, if they are doing so, it is alarming, for whatever reason.
There was a blow up of the pig one of the stain area on the monitors.

I have a question that I'm a 100% sure that everyone here at WS can help me with. How do I get to the sidebar transcripts? ( Between the lawyers and JP )I think that's what they're called. I know there have been other posts on this subject but I can't find them. Thanks in advance.

I would like to find the sidebar transcripts for today (6/17.) Especially when Judge Perry called all of them to the sidebar.

I have an older sidebar bookmarked:

Bumping to help out! Check out the front page of WS for a request from Tricia to help with food donation for a search effort if you are able and motivated. I ordered pizzas. I am very blessed to know where my children and grandchildren are...safe and healthy. Thinking of all missing children.

I heard Baez left the picture of the rotting pig in the trunk up on the screens for about an hour while they testified and then argued about stuff at the sidebar. I don't blame the juror. There was no reason to look at it that long.

The photo of the decomposing pig was displayed on JB's easel, not on the juror's computer screens.

The jurors have been summoned to listen to and to observe evidence in a capital murder trial.

If a juror feels that they are unable to fulfill all the obligations of the task (including the viewing of photographic evidence in the courtroom), they need to step aside so that an alternate can take their place.

A juror covering a monitor to avoid seeing an image of evidence is akin to a juror stepping outside the courtroom without the Judge's permission. IOW - it would be considered contempt of court.

When HHJP acknowledges the presence of the Jury to the Court, each & every juror is expected to fulfill his/her duties - including viewing all materials presented, for whatever length of time they are presented, until HHJP dismisses the Jury.

ETA: When the Jury enters the Court, the State, the Defense, and the Judge (not to mention Justice) expect the full attention of the Jury until they are dismissed by the Judge.
They looked at the picture. They saw it, then they covered it. Obligation fulfilled, then they'll have to look at it again during deliberations.

While I respect your opinion, some of them were probably near puking. They aren't just an abstract "jury" they're also human beings. I'm sorry, I just can't think it's ethical to force these people to look at a picture for hours in open court, even if they puke.

The pig decomposition photo was on JB's low-tech easel - not on the juror's monitors.

Gah! You're right! Silly me! Sorry! :)

ETA: OK...per Dr. Fessel, maybe I wasn't wrong. *shrug*

IMO, if jurors are covering their monitors at any time during the presentation of evidence, they have no business serving in this trial.

If the above quoted allegations are true, I hope HHJP is informed, so that he can inquire & determine the appropriate action.
Were they possibly covering up the pic of the pig decomposing that was on the easel for such a long time, while sidebars went on and on? If so, I might do the same thing. No need to look at that for an hour!
I think if they looked at the photos, that is enough. If they are smart enough to serve on the jury, they should be smart enough to know when they've saw enough of a photo to get the point. IMO

All I know is I am now 100% certain ICA had Caylee's body in the backyard where the grass don't grow. Thanks JB and expert for solidifying that for me.

I might be asking this question on the wrong thread. If so please tell me where I need to post repost my question. If this post needs to be deleted then please do so. Anyway, I was watching Dr. Drew last night....I thought I heard LP say ( right before they went to a commercial ) that he knew where the DUCT TAPE was stored. It was right after they were talking about when the police were called the other night when he (LP) was across the street from the Anthonys house. I could be mistaken, but it struck me as odd for him to say that on t.v. I had the show set to record but one of my kids deleted it.
