My mouth is still hanging open at the gall it takes to imply or allude that somebody from the ME office or CSI moved the tape to 'stage" the picture. Aghast comes to mind.

I lost the feed at some point, what happened to the first witness? was there no cross?

He was dismissed for the day after JB began a line of questioning about the duct tape that was not included in his submitted report. HHBP admonished JB about that (there's a video in a thread here), and told the state they could dispose the witness this afternoon. The witness will re-take the stand on Monday.

Who thinks the jury will believe that the investigators manipulated Caylee's hair in some way? I'm very pro LE so maybe I'm in the dark thinking that Dr. S's statement about that isn't going to fly with the jurors.

2. If he broke the skull
3. Caylee's name

I was quite shocked when he said Casey instead of Caylee.

Jeff Aston did a great job discrediting Dr. Spitz. The jury is not going to buy his lack of knowing the facts in this case, the fact he felt because high profile that the skull needed to be split, the fact that he didn't remember he cracked the skull, the fact that he had some major recollection on everything until he was questioned by the State and the fact that without one ounce of proof he claimed the State staged evidence.

He also didn't remember his public appearances....... selective memory and the jury knows that.

And he testified to things he didn't examine. For example he did not examine Caylee's hair matte but insists there was grave wax on it.

When JA or LDB step up a little Caylee soul sighs relief because they are brining her story to light.

Ashton will bring Dr. G. back on rebuttal, and her testimony will be the last the jury will hear!

I certainly hope so, everything Dr Spitz said was completely opposite of Dr G, not to mention him accusing her of skull tampering.

The same Dr. Spitz that showed up YEARS ago for Spector was here today for KC. JA was almost as brilliant at destroying him as Alan Jackson was. He gave Jackson more material. DT seem to think that jurors are dazed and confused by his notorious past. And today is what happens when they underestimate the public. A massacre of a once good pathologist. Buh bye Dr. Spitz! I really hope I never have to listen to you again.

Allow me to remind everyone that no matter how much education sits behind these witnesses, how many papers they have written, how many autopsies they have performed, how many crime scenes they have investigated, how many bodies they have smelled.....these jurors have common sense.

Not reporting a child missing for 31 days does NOT equal to someone finding a skull and picking it up to purposely put duct tape on it. :crazy:

So did I just witness Dr. Spitz perjuring himself on the stand regarding his interviews about this case? Is there such a thing as "perjury by omission"?

Dr. Spitz's famous words. The skull didn't walk there. It was manipulated. Someone put it on brown paper to take a pic. He is implying someone in the ME office tampered with evidence. Yet, this doctor doesn't remember he was the one that cracked and broke Caylee's skull.

Give me a break. (oh, I don't mean to my skull)

Now I will say this in the side bar thread: I can't let it go that this dr said he met Caylee and that she was healthy and happy. He says he went to the Anthony house and he claimed that the ME office STAGED the picture of Caylee's skull.

He also thinks SOD found the skull without the jaw and then found Henkel brand duct tape, the same kind found at the Anthony's and put the jaw back on the skull.

EVERYONE came along after Caylee was dead and had a hand in this, she was manhandled the dr stated.
