No, I think she is working CM...

But where the heck is his head?????!!!

He is apparently so supportive of her that he is now physically coddling her...but doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to benefit HER in this case....?

I am also finding it VERY interesting that CM is making absolutely no attempt to try and bail Baez out of this trouble like he did the last time HHJP ended up sanctioning Baez....

And Sims just appears to me to be a nervous wreck now. Wonder if she finally broke down and bought a TV so she can watch NG, JVM, and Dr Drew to see what they are saying about her???!!! :great:

There were tweets regarding Dr. Boch in the hallway and JC on IS said an "eldery" lady was sitting in the witness area. Not sure if they had her wait there, if she was called or what-

Here's the tweet:
MagpieFromHinky Pamela
#TonyPipitone says he saw Dr Bach outside after court recessed.????

Yes, I did see tweets about an "elderly female" and then others speculating it was Dr. Bach but I don't believe she or any other witness was ever called to the stand today.

The big question for me now, though, is if she was there why was trial recessed until tomorrow am? Very confusing.

I am watching the 18ths video archives and it seems Baez is getting his feelings of unjustice out on public record.

Right or wrong it is clear he feels he has been limited in his ability to defend his client.

Now if he blames any of those limits on himself I do not know.

Great information! Anything about the motion regarding the release of juror names?
"
Meanwhile, Perry also signed an order barring the release of seated jurors' names today.

"Jurors, simply because they are performing or have performed their civic duty, do not lose their inherent right to privacy," Perry wrote in the order. It is not clear what prompted his decision.

His order says court officials in Orange and Pinellas, Orange County deputies and all attorneys associated with the case "shall not release any information concerning any seated juror UNTIL FURTHER ORDER OF THIS COURT."

I'm wondering if that invisible 3rd witness might have been an expert of some kind that didn't make a report like these others that Baez tried to slip in... It sure looks like Baez & company are doing their damndest to "ambush" the prosecution....

I was wondering the same thing....and since there is speculation that Dr Bach could be the "older woman defense witness" that the media was tweeting about this morning, wonder if THAT is why court was recessed instead of allowing her to testify?

Do we know whether or not she submitted a report?

That is what everyone is speculating about... there are indications that it might involve the jurors considering the circumstances.
The bailiff being involved, JP taking the court reporter into the jury room, the quick conference in JP's chambers after everything was set to begin ...
I saw a weird tweet today that was said to be false and I am still searching for information on it but it said some guy saw the jurors at their hotel together and yelled "she's guilty." People then said that's false, but they were lay people who were responding to the tweets- I'll try to find it again.

This is the third page of the article and is a few paragraphs down:

Also filed today was a motion to quash the subpoena for Vasco Thompson, the man the defense listed as a late witness last week.

The motion, filed by attorney Matt T. Morgan, says Thompson is set to appear before Perry at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

So do I. Indeed, it is a matter of taste, and I, personally, find photoshopping pictures of dead children distasteful. I understand the sentiment and know a lot of people like that sort of thing, but the visual is just . . . I'll stop there. JMO.

Do I understand correctly that the state didn't depose the witness from Saturday? I thought the deposition was set for Saturday afternoon; what happened?[/QUOTE]

Yes, he WAS deposed for about 2 hours....

"Vasco Thompson is a 'non-party' in Casey case

Also filed today was a motion to quash the subpoena for Vasco Thompson, the man the defense listed as a late witness last week.

The motion, filed by attorney Matt T. Morgan, says Thompson is set to appear before Perry at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

It goes on to say Thompson "has no personal knowledge of facts relating to the alleged killing of Caylee Marie Anthony."

The motion calls Thompson's subpoena for trial "a misguided attempt to draw attention and publicity to an already highly publicized matter."

Thompson "believes that the defendant's subpoena for trial is only a delay, to create confusion in the evidence and a ploy to create an illusion of reasonable doubt," Morgan's motion says.

It adds that the subpoena "was filed in bad faith against the non-party Vasco Thompson" and creates an undue burden on him.

The motion asks Perry to quash the subpoena and enter "a protective order prohibiting the defendant, Casey Anthony, from further contact with" Thompson."

I hope Mr. Thompson files a complaint against JB license with the FL Bar.:maddening: I hope JB gets disbarred for throwing this innocent person right in the middle of this case when he was fully aware that this man didn't even have the dang phone number when the calls were made:banghead:

All I know is that is was an AMENDED order. Here is a link to the ORIGINAL order. Pretty clear to me, not sure why it needed to be amended. Not a law type person, maybe someone here has more info on why such an order might need to be amended.

Put me on the same list you are. It was disturbing to me.

Why is it the guilty one is the one who always cries this.

Because they have probably lived that way their entire life.
Nothing is ever their fault.
When confronted they deflect and spin it on somebody else.

They are making a bigger deal of this then it really is.

So he doesnt know them ,he goes to court and says that. It is over then.

Instead he gets a lawyer? yeah okay.

I don't know what happened in court today, but I don't think it was over the witness.

The judge called in his intern, then the court reporter and the deputy. I am thinking/guessing that he was looking at them as witnesses over something.

So I don't know what happened in there, but I am thinking it was something major.

BBM: I agree. I think it was something major because for Judge Perry to cancel Court for the entire day, it had to be something BIG and SERIOUS !

If it was about a witness, the Judge would have told JB and the DT to call another witness ... keep it moving forward.

:waitasec: Oh how I wish I was a "fly on the wall" in Judge's Chambers today ...

This is just a GUESS.....

But saw a youtube video of legal commentary this morning and the reporter asked him about the unexpected comment by HHJP in court about having just dealt with an issue "concerning Rules of Sequestration"....

The legal commentor (can't recall who) said since it involved Rules of Seq., it probably did NOT involve an actual juror but most likely a witness....

I am now wondering if the "issue" involved "someone" possibly revealing a juror's name...and HHJP nipped it in the bud by this court order???

This whole day has me frazzled beyond belief. I honestly feel like falling back into bed and just screaming.:maddening:
