OK note to self. Only a true idiot would attempt to face or challenge JA in court on something concerning DNA. Am I wrong in thinking that JA might possibly be a more qualified DNA expert than the witness? I mean to the extent that he probably could testify in court as an expert?

Not sure what you mean. Holland is one of the most modern countries in the world when it comes to business, science, culture, etc., and one of the most beautiful when it comes to the farms, cities, buildings, etc.


On another note, anyone know what the state didn't depose this guy until recently?

Because he stated no opinions until Saturday. Yes, this past Saturday.

He is just trying to get on record that Eikelenbloom could have tested but was not 'permitted' to. No one can now say what he might have found, or not...

IIRC, JB asked to send stuff to this guy, but Ashton didn't want evidence going out of the country, so JB got to send stuff to a US lab. But HE DID NOT SEND THE DUCT TAPE. But this guy can't testify to that. So JB can just leave this impression that the state thwarted justice and JA has no one to ask about what really happened.

No report filed by him until Sat 6/18 - the JB sent him over to SAO on Sunday for depo - except he didn't tell the state that. Little discovery violation contretemps

We should start a support thread for the Jurors when they get off this case? I can't even imagine being away from family, home, pets, etc etc all this time to have to sit and listen to Baez everyday. They deserve a month long cruise after this is all over.

Probably the last thing this jury will want will be to be trapped on a floating hotel for a month when this thing is done!
