Court resumes (to take care of an issue) at 1:30 but the jury is out to lunch until 1:45 PM

Tell me something - if she is INSISTING and her DT doesnt want her to, what are they obligated to ask her once she is up there? Has there ever been a situation like that where an attorney refuses to 'question' the defendant/witness?

Just my thoughts-If she insisted on getting up on the stand, then the DT would have to question her and provide appropriate and timely objections during cross. If they don't then it opens up the door for appeal.(not to say that appeal can be won though).

Not sure it is "breaking news" as we heard about it this morning, but she filed a 105 page motion for mistrial based on the DP ruling in another case.
