I'm rubbing my hands with glee at the thought of the utter chaos behind the scenes in this defense team. Can you imagine what happens when those doors close behind them?

:panic::panic::panic::panic:

i think Mr Kronk will do well. After hearing Casey's friend say "casey does everything close to home", I thought about the areas around the home also, I think this was sensible place to look. Sometimes people overlook the obvious.

In case no one has seen this - I had to go to my muse Bill S. to make any sense at all of today.

Here's what he has to say for Trial Day 40...

as usual, he was very interesting.

Hmm, maybe I'm supposed to delete the http://

OK, here is my thinking on JB. I think he should be up for malpractice after this is all over and she is convicted. Any attorney worth his salt would have pled this out a long time ago, imo. He has carried it too far and should not be jeopardizing his client's life with his ego. JMO and I believe she is guilty, but not DP guilty. Thanks for listening.

A lot of the THs are postulating and regurgitating :giggle: that the DT filed the competency motion because ICA is insisting on taking the stand. Fingers crossed!

:offtobed: Hope y'all figure out this bizarro world by the time I get up~!

:seeya:

ETA: I just noticed I have over 4k posts! I'm just shy that way! :blushing:

Holy crap that made me look at mine! Almost 6000! I need a life!!

Time flies doesn't it...

Welcome to the Hotel California - you can check out but you can never leave...

Serious!! You shoulda just heard Lenny who said Hoover shouldn't sell the vid to FOX... nooo... he should sell it to Jim Lichtenstein for 4x the amount. LOLLLLOOLL

Where am I? :ufo:

Oh, but LP just told him that to stall while he got in touch with Nick Savage, FBI guy, and he called and he called and he called but couldn't reach him...
Then, John Allen, OCLE guy, told LP he wanted LP to take a lie detector test, and LP would really, really like to see John Allen take a lie detector test before this trial is over, he really would... :floorlaugh:

Now, here's the thing. I believe Hoover when he was talking about LP being the one to suggest big money for the tape. But how did this happen? If selling the tape was pretty much Hoover's first idea (after the now you see it, now you don't explanation)...how did that all go down? Here's the mix: Hoover, LP, and GR. We already know Hoover placed a phone call to an attorney...so does it stand to reason that that person is common to all people involved? We know about the GR connection and we know about the LP connection. So who encouraged LP to call Hoover?

I just spent some time reading over DC's emails during his investigation and I got a sense of someone playing "double-naught spy" ala Jethro Bodine from the Beverly Hillbillies....

Now you totally get why we "oldies" were kind of chortling in the background.. :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

You don't get the whole "flavour" of them if we had just told you about them. LOL

I am still creeped out to know that GA & CA held a Meet & Greet to raise money.
That is something new I learned today.

All the while insisting their DD was innocent, that LE was on a witch hunt, and they were trying the "thwart" the official investigation into "THEIR"
grandaughter's disappearance. Takes sleaze to a whole new level, no?:banghead:

So far I haven't seen anything great from the defense team. Lee looked like an idiot crying because he was left out and JA took him out when he said he wasn't emotional about the same questions in deposition.

CA looked like she was lying about her work records and about the searches on the computer. I doubt if anyone on the jury believed that one.

Most of the experts looked senile and like non-experts. Sometimes they agreed with JA.

The two private detectives of Baez look like crooks. I'm sure the jury understood that they were previously employed by Baez and later the Anthonys. No credibility.

This is a slam dunk for the Prosecution and they are kicking some rear end.

That's what I think about what's going on.

adding: The defense appears to be trying to distract the jury and that will pizz them off.

I was only able to watch today in bits and pieces. When did Ann Finnell file the motion for the mistrial and ask Perry to begin jury selection with a non death-qualified jury? Was this at the end of today's testimony or did it happen earlier in the day? TIA

You mean my daughter is right? You really are my imaginary friend and we don't count as a life??? :maddening:

:pillowfight: Never! You guys are my besties! :blowkiss: My daughter thinks the same thing! Then she goes on FB :waitasec:
