Last week before the verdict, I was thinking the only thing the circus here was missing is Gloria Alred somehow getting involved.

Geezus! Dr. Drew asked Lisa Bloom if the prosecutors underestimated the defense. She said she thought everyone did.

She said, "they got a unanimous jury verdict for the defense in 11 hours without a request for a single piece of evidence. This is a defense that did a very good job and we all have to concede that."

Really, Lisa!? An incompetent jury equals a good job by the defense?!

Lordy, why do I continue to subject myself to this drivel?!

I know! I knew enough to click away when that Richard guy opened his mouth but I can't believe I heard Lisa Bloom say the defense did a good job. The defense did a terrible job! They lucked out that the jurors are apparently as shallow-thinking as KC is.

Is Mark the guy that Casey liked who lives in California? So many "characters" in this saga that I tend to get them confused. I heard an interview with Tara when she called in to one of the talk shows and got skeered when I knew that she didn't live too far away from me.

I wonder if trial watchers have changed the google searches by now. So many people checking chloroform, then chlorophyll that now google recognizes and returns the chloroform suggestion. Hmmm.

BBM. GA sure did make a point of Caylee leaving with her backpack on June 16. I see them sitting around the dining room table going over every element they needed to cover.
CA also made a point to say they always kept 2 or so outfits in the car in case she messed her clothes up.

I honestly don't see either GA or CA comments as unusual at all. Many people pack "extras" when taking their children out for several hours.

The question remains, however, just where were Casey and Caylee going?

I just think it's convenient that GA remembers that they both walked out the door on June 16th with their backpacks. I do think it was okay and not fishy that the extra bag of clothes were in there.

What show was Wendy Murphy on, spouting off about the "sealed photos"? And did anyone challenge her this time, telling her that LE denied it today?

I have always found it incredible he remembered with such detail what happened and what everyone was wearing, on what, at the time, was just another ordinary day..........

Unfortunately, I seriously doubt it would have mattered....they would have "speculated" that somehow GA hacked into her myspace account and put those "lovely" pictures and comments on there or LA did, or perhaps Cookie Monster did......these jurors just didn't comprehend what "reasonable doubt" was OR that they were NOT to speculate OR consider "opening arguments" as evidence period!

This is a prime example of why AFTER a jury is selected they should HAVE to take a week long course regarding deliberations and what is appropriate and what is not and what is to be considered and what is NOT to be considered!

How about the jury isn't incompetent AND the defense didn't do a good job. They didnt.

Not to repeat myself but I see a bunch of factors resulting in the verdict. The defense scored a few small wins once in a while but that was by throwing everything and the kitchen sink against the wall which caused problems in court and repeatedly annoyed the judge and jury

The perjury/level of decomposition/ issues with the google searches, how the case was charged, RK finding the remains in August and being annoyed. You can't pin this all on one factor. The jury made this decision but a million factors influenced the decision and yes, it's always possible some could from outside court.

I think DT better have a really frank talk with ICA about what she is facing on the outside. No sugarcoating it. Most Americans think you killed your baby and got away with it. You are despised. PR doesn't want you either.

On one of the HLN programs tonight there was speculation by one of the guests they were "deliberating" before the trial was over due to the short amount of time in the deliberation room, and the time it would've taken to select a foreperson, go over evidence, jury instructions, breaks for lunch and whatnot and deliberate.

I'm really convinced this all goes back to the fight between Cindy and Casey on the 15th. You can make a good argument for pre-meditation from that. Had the family told the truth about whatever happened, Casey would be in jail for good.

I think it was the aftermath of whatever happened that made it memorable.
