:rocker: Great point !!!

:waitasec: I would answer ... but I don't want a T/O ... or to get banned !

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Its called using the law to one's advantage. She can plead the fifth in her upcoming deposition if she has another lawsuit pending. Simple as that.

OK let me pose a question to you.

Baez says we should all accept that Casey has constitutional rights because she was acquitted of the murder, manslaughter, child abuse. That if we believe in the system we must accept the jury verdict.

Ponder this. Why then is it OK for Casey not to accept the jury verdict on the 4 lying to Police Officer charges since they admitted it in trial? :waitasec:

Where in the Constitution does it say it works one way? For only the Accused?

Ironic, isn't it? I'm pretty certain they are appealing the misdemeanors as to avoid depositions in civil suits. I have news for Baez and Cheney though. Accepting the outcome doesn't mean we have to agree with it or like it. It only means "it is what it is". Many things in life are like that..we can't change it and learn to cope with realities we don't like. Hashing it out on the forum, changing channels to better ignore the whole lot of them, etc. - these are some great ways to deal with the outcome within our rights and within the law. Baez and Cheney need to accept the fact that people are unhappy with the verdict, and not draw more attention by whining on tv.

NewsFlash for JOSE :seeya:

Accepting and agreeing are not the same thing!

Constitution: 1ST AMENDMENT (Hint: Freedom of speech!)

Now here is the hard one for you - Acquitted/not guilty verdict does not mean INNOCENCE - it just means the village with 12 lost souls (who didn't deserve desert lady, IMHO) didn't think it was PROVEN beyond a REASONABLE doubt.
Bonus information........Reasonable doubt is SUBJECTIVE!

"reasonable doubt n. not being sure of a criminal defendant's guilt to a moral certainty. Thus, a juror (or judge sitting without a jury) must be convinced of guilt of a crime (or the degree of crime, as murder instead of manslaughter) "beyond a reasonable doubt," and the jury will be told so by the judge in the jury instructions. However, it is a subjective test since each juror will have to decide if his/her doubt is reasonable."

I use to think that Lola. But if she gets into photography and manages to get a life for herself, the chances that she will kill again are unlikely, imo. If she needs others to sustain, then there is a chance if something gets in her way.

But if things are going to go her way and she actually starts selling photography, she will have a chance.

as a photographer myself for many years, as well as close family who also are photographers for their living.....I'm not precisely an expert but....no.

photographers these days, with the advent of digital, on the internet....dime a freakin' dozen. FCA's pics before were snapshots and not particularly good ones. I doubt she's had much practice "in, oh, the jail".

What Baez doesn't get is that we do accept the verdict (we have no alternative -we don't get to appeal) but we don't agree with it. We believe this verdict allows her to get away with murdering her child and we have a Constitutional right to speak out -- even if it hurts his feelings.

1. to take or receive (something offered); receive with approval or favor: to accept a present; to accept a proposal.
2. to agree or consent to; accede to: to accept a treaty; to accept an apology.
3. to respond or answer affirmatively to: to accept an invitation.

uhhhhh no thanks. I don't want the BS being offered.

I don't agree to accept that the jury found her NG
I do not see how at this point I can respond or answer affirmatively.

So Jose (and CM for that matter) since we are on the subject of our constitutional rights: We have a right to voice or opinion in this matter.
The tax payers of Florida have the right to insisit that their monies be spent in a wise manner. Giving room and board, using resources that could be better spent on sincere, hurting families that are in real distress would be just one little request.

You Mr. Baez can whine all you want to your friend GR about the injustice of it all but there are many that "just ain't buyin it". I can pretty much guarantee that you will be whining about injustice when you are left in the thick mud that "she" will leave you in. Nobody-- well not too many people will feel one bit of sorrow for you.

PS : if you're reading here Ms. KC , my invitation to PM me still stands.:woohoo::woohoo:

This post was not meant to reply to you're post, It was meant for the original question. I'm sorry if it sounds disprespectful to what yours said. None meant.

Did I just hear JVM say that Al Taylor is going to plead to Casey on her show tonight to accept his offer? Think that is what I heard.....

I had it paused (had to play ball with the lab!) and Jane says she is "going to talk to Al Taylor the one who offered her a million dollars and he tells us he is going to make a plea directly to casey anthony tonight on our show to try to bypass all the intermediaries and and get her to accept his offer."

She didn't. Remember she was an "event planner" at Universal for those 2 and 1/2 years after Caylee was born.

Too bad. She'll probably be watching CSI. jmo

The check he's showing around is bogus. Routing numbers are shown as '123456789'. Account number is the same: 123456789.

I don't believe a word he says. Been sleuthing him...can't find much info other than Jerry Springer denies any involvement and his spokesperson says the guy hasn't worked for JS for years and years.

This was on Google 7/6 - don't recall hearing about this ever actually happening. In any event, Babs and her network have disappeared from my remote.
Barbara Walters to sit down with Jose Baez
Casey Anthony's lawyer Jose Baez is opening up, and the first person he’s turning to is Barbara Walters.

The veteran journalist is interviewing Baez in the lawyer’s first network interview since the verdict was handed down in Anthony’s case.

In an hour-long “Nightline” special called “Casey Anthony Not Guilty: Inside the Bombshell Verdict,” Walters will pepper Baez about his strategy in the courtroom, Anthony’s demeanor and why he thinks she was found not guilty of murder, among other topics.

Portions from the interview will air on ABC’s “World News with Diane Sawyer” tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT, and the “Nightline” special will begin at 10 p.m. ET.
More from Walters’ interview with Baez will air tomorrow, July 7, on “Good Morning America” and “The View.”

What the heck was Sean Daley talking about on that interview. He claims to be her best friend and he doesn't know anything about her. Wehn asked if she lies, he responds, "A little more than most" but not much." She called him to tell him she's pregnant and he doesn't ask about the father because it isn't his businees?? Now why wouldn't a best friend be concerned about her and who the father is?

Why does the father of Caylee have to be hidden from everyone? Theres a chance Caylee died on Father's Day and it may have some relevance.

Now HLN is talking about what Casey eats. Unreal. Is she so important that we have to discuss her food?

:floorlaugh:

She took most of the pics sold to ABC and
many WS members are currently using
pics she took as their avatars!!!

Yes but for pete's sake if he put the correct numbers on the check - we would be able to access the account ... so it might not be that clear.

Vinnie on HLN Prime News is exploring the disconnect between the jury and spectators. He says the 1st link b/w CFCA and the death/murder of Caylee was the smell of decomposition in the car. Listed those who smelled it - GA, CA, Simon Birch, Gerardo Bloise, Yuri Melich, Jasy Forgey, Arpad Vass, and Gerus. Last, but not least was CFCA herself. Recall, she said it smelled like a dead squirrel. 2nd link: consciousnesses of guilt. CFCA's numerous lies, particularly regarding Caylee being missing.

Next question: Did the jury understand "reasonable doubt"? Disconnect: The defense tries to hold the prosecution to proving EVERY fact of a crime, which the prosecution does NOT have to do. (After listening to three of the jurors, I have come to realize this jury wanted the SA to account for every second of the crime. MOO) The jury looked at each piece of evidence individually in a vacuum, rather than the totality. Vinnie refers to juror 3 and the foreman keeps referring to cause of death. No evidence that she drowned or even went into a pool. The pictures of Caylee in the pool and at the patio door caused the jurors to speculate which they are not supposed to do. It is supposed to be reasonable doubt, not speculative doubt.

The web of lies: the jury would not hold this mother accountable despite the depth of lies she spun regarding the death of her daughter. Questions of why didn't she call 911? Why involve someone using the name of Zenaida Gonzalez? Jury did not make CFCA accountable for the death of her daughter.

Common Sense: plea from the prosecution to use their common sense. Why would someone lie about the death of their daughter?

I so wish the jury would watch this. It's so simple. All the links add up to no one but KC.
