Oh thank you Lord and HHJP! No making Kronk the suspect in court! I figured this particular denial deserved it's own thread! The defense is DEFINITELY running out of options everyday it seems!

And Kronk gets to remain the hero that he is in court. I think that is only appropriate. He found Caylee, and now he gets to help bring justice to Caylee in court. I can't wait for that! And I know Kronk must be having a great Friday today!

No innocent party deserves to be dragged through the mud like the defense team did with him. And speaking of the defense team, they're fast running out of options.

I know that my cat could eat a bowl of alphabet soup and puke out something that made more sense than most of the defense's pleadings thus far, so yeah, I'm pretty sure we all could've come up with something a lot better strategy-wise, too.

Oh that's the best post I've read all day - thank you I have 2 kitties, so maybe the 3 combined can come up with a better defense! I just imagine them sitting at the defense table (meow, meow, meow).

I'm SO happy for Kronk. I hated the idea that Baez and Co wanted to railroad him to begin with.

Looks like Baez and Co. had better what's left for the defense but more of the same desperate misdirection (lies), everyone can see it's a lost cause, one has to wonder if they are going to take this to the very bitter end and why?.

I laughed out loud at that run for the hills!
I believe JB will take this train wreck all the way and I believe he will do it for all those entertainment and book and movie deals. I believe all of these deals made hinge on this going to trial.

Hahaha so Casey's prior bad acts, or disgusting stupidity with the tattoos, partying, sleeping around - will be allowed, but the fictitious bad acts of Mr. Kronk will not. I love it. The defense will have to go to their dozenth contingency plan and go after the Anthonys now. No alibi, no defense, no explanation or "aha moment"...just shifting of the blame. Well Cindy, you protected your darling little angel let's see how she returns the favor.

Baez is gonna have to realize that his only out is to have ICA take the stand and beg for mercy on her soul. Right after loopy grandmama finishes telling the jury that Caylee is still alive and out there somewhere.

I'm also suffering from a slight attack of schadenfreude (delight in another's misfortune) since this does put a large dent (thwart, thwart) in the most recent Defense Grand Strategy and KC's hopes that someone, anyone, can be framed.

That's a really interesting point about KC taking the stand. For that matter, after reviewing what Baez has put on the Defense's Mitigation Witness List, KC might implode in Phase II of the trial.

The judge's decision is a really great thing to happen to Roy Kronk. One other thing comes to mind, though. Wonder if he is thinking of a possible defamation case down the road? He might be willing to let it go; I guess a lot depends on what happens when he is on the stand.

Indeed they will try, I bet and often.
I must find the spot in the hearing, but Cheney mumbled some bs about we will just bring it up if we need to impeach him and then the state, of course, has the right to object. I remember thinking at the time....

Oh my they are going to pull stunts like bring up stuff the judge already ruled on, the state will jump up and object, the judge will sustain the
objection (agree with the state), but indeed the jury will have already heard it and one cannot unring the bell. We CANNOT have a drinking game to where we all take a shot every time the State has to object. I am setting that rule in advance. WE CANNOT. We'll wind up in our local e r rooms with alcohol poisoning.

What was the short little lawyer who owned the firm in the Ally McBeal series, the one that had all of the little stunts he would pull, and his reputation preceded him with the judges? They'll know better, but play dumb. That seems to be their current and only strategy.
