I had to take a break from the case for a few hours today but saw coverage on JVM and just now with Nancy Grace - all the while switching channels back & forth to the Detroit Tiger playoff game.

I will try to catch up on new posts before Law & Order: SVU comes on at 10:00. Let's hope and pray for some good news in the case of missing Baby Lisa.

LP: someone is injected themselves in this case. The PI is an ex-cop.

Nancy addressed what I have been stewing over, why is Lisa's bed filled up with baby things, looks like when you come home from a baby shower...

I was thinking the same. If Mom followed the missing Caylee case we all seen the Target videos where she went shopping and nothing was purchased for Caylee. Which we all know now (and then), Caylee was deceased at that time.

Good point! She also alluded to knowing about missing kids cases where the parents hurt thier children in that interview where she was asked about the failed polygraph and at the end the reporter asks JI about the dumpster fire that he hadn't heard about but DB had.

I am not saying she did on purpose by the way.

Cashier was questioned about Deborah's demeanor that day.

Casey A's demeanor was ok, too!!! Happily shopping in Target for lingerie and beer.......

Did anyone have an answer to that?

Thanks everyone for the updates, I don't get NG.

Right, I would think she wouldn't want anything in the crib but Lisa's things for when she comes home. Maybe it's as simple as LE putting the bins in there when they were investigating? Maybe it wasn't DB who put them there and they were on tape just by coincidence and are no longer in the crib.

ETA: I believe the photo's and video that you are referencing are the ones that were taken by a journalist and he stated that they had come in right after LE was done with the room.

BBM

Yes....but that was AFTER she killed Caylee. She was happier because she wasn't required to be a parent anymore. She was free.

IMHO...
Debbie was in the store hours before Baby Lisa went missing, so she had no reason to be unhappy yet. Life was still normal at that point.

Unless it was planned to make it look like Lisa was still alive at that time.

It's possible, but it's my perception that they would have been throwing that around in early news conferences if it had been a part of the plan. Specifically the one where she was saying that the police accused her, but that she was innocent. I don't think they would have waited days hoping someone would notice.

I'm not stating a side, just commenting. I'm agnostic, I'm a perpetual fence sitter

How can I help? lol. I totally disagree with the psychologist. The mom is really devastated in my opinion.

I would certainly agree if psychologists had said that about the father...but the mother?! Ummm...:rollercoaster: ?

Legal age to purchase alcohol in the united states is 21. The reason I'm skeptical about this being an underage kid is b/c if the clerk even thought she was buying for someone under 21 she should have refused to sell it. If you have someone standing outside the store while you are buying alcohol they will refuse to sell w/o ID. I'd think if this is an underage kid then the store will be in hot water as well as DB.

Individual states have laws regarding legal drinking age. When I was in college, Michigan law was age 21, but drinking age in Ohio was 18. That might have changed over the years, but I'm not sure that all states have the same laws for legal alcohol purchase. jmo

Haven't been able to watch Nancy this week, but I'm curious about something. In MO, a divorce will not be granted to a pregnant woman. And a child born during a marriage the man is presumed to be the father of the child. You have to have paternity tests and jump through some other hoops to have paternity changed. I think they have, since Lisa's last name is Irwin, but I wonder if Lisa's family has completed this process since her mother is still married to another man. I'm not accusing anyone of anything but the thought does cross my mind that if they haven't then the mother's actual husband would possibly be responsible for paying child support for a child that isn't even his. Has this been addressed at all on Nancy's show?

I agree. I can't believe the psych said that. "Hysterical" is a better term.

One would think Lisa couldn't have slept in there with all those things, therefore, when and why were they added? Wouldn't a parent normally leave their abducted baby's crib untouched, praying for the baby's safe return?

If it is true that there were neighbors over and in the house, I really believe Lisa was alive and well and there. CA was unique in that she was able to claim her daughter was in the care of others. I don't get the impression that DB had that same "out". MOO
