Could it be she used WIC vouchers for the babyfood & wipes? I don't know how that works. Just something that occurred to me. Otherwise, I'd assume it's b/c she's buying the wine for an underage kid (do they not card the person w/you when you buy alcohol, esp when you ring it separately?).

True she is a single mom by law and could get benefits even welfare and food stamps.

Legal age to purchase alcohol in the united states is 21. The reason I'm skeptical about this being an underage kid is b/c if the clerk even thought she was buying for someone under 21 she should have refused to sell it. If you have someone standing outside the store while you are buying alcohol they will refuse to sell w/o ID. I'd think if this is an underage kid then the store will be in hot water as well as DB.

My feeling is that if she bought baby food and wipes just hours before Lisa went missing, that whatever happened to her wasn't planned. This one piece of info has changed my view of her somewhat.

This is the only info I've seen that gave any kind of clue so far. Everything else is confusing.

I don't even recall anyone even suggesting that she PLANNED to harm baby Lisa.

It depends on the cashier I think.

NG showing police re-enactment of someone trying to get into the window and giving her analysis of it vs. how the intruder could have entered the house.

Reporter is saying this re-enactment was done on Sunday afternoon in full view of the neighbors, etc. and the window also slammed down which would make noise. He's also saying this window doesn't even lead to the baby's room.

NG asking him what the object is under the window; a bird bath? She's wondering if it is strong enough for someone to stand on or if the object was there that night. NG asking him which way the window screen was bent, in or out? NG speculating the intruder could've entered through the window and exited out the front door.

NG asking a doctor if Lisa had died inside the home would there be evidence? She says it would depend how she died.

I thought the exact same thing when I read that. I wonder if they checked to see if she still had any of these items.

Well technically she's married to SB. ;)

O/T true but I doubt if he gives her any money except child support. And her name is not on JI deed......

My thoughts exactly. It would be illegal for DB to purchase it for a minor.

Apologies for the earlier question, I hadn't realized the legal age re: alcohol was uniform for all states as I believe it used to vary.

:)

Oh my goodness - Caller question: is it normal for a stranger to walk into your house, turn on the lights and walk out the front door? WTF!

NG asking reporter who, besides DB, last saw Lisa alive. The boys? Anyone else inside the house that evening? He doesn't recall.

:maddening:

I agree !!! Many times, cashiers don't care or don't pay attention to things like that !!! Age has alot to do with it, I think !!!

(I need to got to bed!!!) ;)

Good NG for asking who were the last people to see Baby Lisa other than the immediate family members. It did assure me to find out the Mom bought baby products, but doesn't prove much. She could've sent an accomplice off with the baby and baby items.

It is illegal for her to purchase it for a minor and there might be a store clerk in a little trouble right now.

When I was younger but of age, there were times when my BF and I would go together to get beer or something and only a few times did they card me also and I did not look old for my age.

Yes definitely, the age of the cashier had a lot to do with it.
