IIRC I believe JRR is done serving his sentence sometime in February. It's now January...it's not really that far off.

True, it's not that far off until he's extradited to Florida---around the last of February, maybe into the first week of March. I'm anxious, can't believe it's been since last June since TS was found that morning. There's sooooooo much involved in this case. Praying LE has or obtains super glue evidence as we certainly don't want a Teflon MS!

Wasn't there talk somewhere along the way about JRR "being known to use a hammer" or "being known to carry a hammer"? Does this mean that he has had known prior experience in using a hammer to beat someone? Anybody know?

Don't think I'd seen that 8/31 report from WINK before. The neighbors got an eyeful during the raid on JR's trailer--bloody clothes, blood spots on the cooler.

As to his being known to carry a hammer, it seems that was entirely due to his own big mouth. Having spent years in prison for having access to firearms in violation of his parole, and thus unlikely to want to take that risk again, finding an alternative weapon and letting others know he was armed was clearly important to him. All in all, with the "hammer" moniker, the Facebook posts, the souvenirs, and the SIM card, the guy's a Darwin Award winner for sure.

Didn't JR brag on Facebook that he likes rough sex? I'm guessing Florida prisons can provide more than he would like, and that the favor he owned CWW was for "protection" (and I don't mean a magnum prophylactic) in a Missouri jail. He might want to start negotiating, if he isn't already.

LaLaw2000, you're the expert on this... Would the Feds have helped the state of FL out by putting JR in a rough cell block or anything like that? So that JR arrives in FL crying like a baby and willing to deal?

Does anyone know which federal prison is closest to Lee County FLA? With JRR having pending charges in FLA would they transfer him to be released there? Or will they release him in IL (where he is now) and make the FLA authorities file for having him arrested there?

Just wondering.

I am by no means an expert of anything, but no, I do not believe that they would do anything like that.

And if he didn't behave himself, would/could his sentence be extended? In other words, could he intentionally try to delay release since he knows the next step is Florida?

There would be some sort of punishment for each infraction. If the infraction were to be serious enough, his 'good time' would be affected. IOW, he would lose some days served, IMO.

This is not JR's first rodeo serving time and most inmates know that a Federal Prison is much better to do time in. BUT, prison officials know how badly Florida wants him so I doubt they will keep him past his 85% time served. JR knows very well he is going to have to come to Florida at some point.

It can't be soon enough for me!

Nor me... His time in MO is drawing nigh. He should be headed back to the Sunshine State really soon. Too bad he won't be able to pick up any "cute" t-shirts this time!

For what it's worth JRR is in Federal Prison in Greenville, IL. I believe JRR drew his last Missouri breath quite some time ago. He should get out of Federal prison 27 days from today. Missouri was more than happy to export both these guys out, IMO.

For what it's worth JRR is in Federal Prison in Greenville, IL. I believe JRR drew his last Missouri breath quite some time ago. He should get out of Federal prison 27 days from today. Missouri was more than happy to export both these guys out, IMO.

However, what will happen is FL will apply for a fugitive warrant soon, as they did for CWW, and Rodgers will then be released into the custody of a sheriff's office of his last known address of record. That means St. Francois county. Then the process will be similar to CWW extradition. JRR will probably not be in FL till around April.

per news-press charges were made at the same time as CWW's , cited as living in Cadet which is Washington county, but was last held in Hillsboro which is Jeffco. Might be a logistics mess.
