2015.08.27 Curtis Wayne Wright: Charged with Murder in the 2nd Degree

The idea is absolutely nothing without the engineer. Nothing at all. So the patent owner should put the actual master mind down to help eliminate a freelance engineer from wanting to jump ship to the competition. Jmo

Oh…. These engineers don’t jump ship when they have a $120,000+ annual salary and annual bonuses based on company profit.

The engineers at this company have jumped ship from other companies because they receive top pay, superior benefits, and awesome respect. But, the names of the engineers are not listed as Inventors on the Patents.

From what Skinner described, it seems like CWW would not have desired, or expected, to be named as Inventor on the Patent Application.

True - the idea all by itself isn’t the ‘invention’. But the idea is the philosophy and intellectual property of the inventor. The inventor then hires others to put the idea into concrete action, to ‘create’ and ‘develop’.

The inventor doesn’t owe the developers or creators anything but what was promised when they were hired, or contracted, to help create and develop. Just because they helped doesn’t mean they get their name on the patent as 'inventor'.

The inventor has no intellectual property right in the patented idea, those rights are exclusively reserved to the patent owner. Its like owning a home and hiring a designer with respect to property rights, as the 'owner' of the property you can sell, license, exclude others from using the property.

True, it is up to the owner of the work whether to patent and who to name as an inventors. I could be wrong, but I think you're describing a situation where a lead inventor hires a team to carry out tasks. I could see why the team hired after the patentable 'work' was completed, wouldn't be listed on the application.:twocents:

Yes, I am using the example where the Inventor IS the Patent Owner.

If Skinner made millions then CWW would have been mad and would have went ballistic. I think Skinner saw CWW as gullible. Btw. CWW didn't work under Skinners company. So he didn't automatically own any software engineering that Cww did. Jmo

<snipped for focus> So he didn't automatically own any software engineering that Cww did. Jmo

He did automatically own any software engineering that CWW did during the time period he was 'creating' for Skinner's project. I'm sure the contract accurately and adequately described the type of work subject to Skinner's ownership.

An invention is the IDEA. To create is the EXECUTION of that idea.
Skinner was the inventor. CWW created.

Interesting. Speaking of ideas and executions thereof, I wonder who was the "IDEA" guy and who was the "EXECUTIONER" in this case?

Interesting. Now is this KL's son whose wedding MS paid for?

It would appear so...

"Mark went to college with my son," she said. "The day I met Mark I came home and Mark and him were sitting at the kitchen table teasing each other."

Lifka said that Mark Sievers became such good friends with her son that he eventually paid for her son's modest wedding reception.

....and so what do you think CWW's motive was?

IMO, CWW perceived TS as some kind of threat, maybe he thought she know something that she did not. Or motive was as Skinner theorized, maybe moral outrage, helping a 'brother' out.

....and so what do you think CWW's motive was?

I'd like to know that also. I read that he was angry about MS kissing his new bride on the neck and allegedly fondling her (I don't see that) at the wedding.

That seems to be a pretty minor type of incident to become a motive for murder to me.

It's got to be more than that.

My first post. I have been following all of the links. I am an unverified former patient of TS. I began seeing her just after she established practice in Estero. So I knew her for many years. I am also from her town, Bonita. I have REALLY been wondering why CWW hasn't been extradited yet. JMO, he could be trying to get the best deal that he can on the disappearance of Bolin in MO. He agrees to give up his info on the TS case to allow him to serve time on the PRIOR incident. He gets to stay in MO, near family. Keeps him out of federal prison for the FL and interstate felonies. As soon as he hits FL the Sunshine Laws take effect. If I were LE, I wouldn't bring him here until I was sure CWW gave up everything they could get.
Again, JMO.

Hey, welcome villager! Good to have you here. I think CWW will be here in Fl as soon as procedural-wise possible.

Funny though, when I read your post, I had to think of a public comment by a CWW family member. Even he (family member), does not have lots of faith in the folks dealing with CWW in MO/ Jefferson County..
