Okay I read the letter. CCW is either delusional or purposely made things up in order to get transferred.

Either way it gives Mark's defense some ammunition to use against him. JMO

Unbelievably he was only sentenced to 32 days plus 4 years probation:

Mark Young sounds like a bad cop who was spiraling since at least DEC 2015. Perhaps he has a 'nothing left to lose' attitude and is more than willing and able to do a dirty deed for Mark Sievers. I imagine their view of Curtis Wayne Wright is that Wayne is a 'snitch', and that Wayne probably violated the Sievers/Wright Brother From Another Mother pact to not snitch on the other.

The minimal sentence? Well, it seems to me that the Brothers in Blue / Prosecutors allowed their fellow cop Mark Young to sidestep the worst charge:

The reports said Sgt. Mark Young violated LCSO policies on insubordination regarding prompt compliance with a superior's lawful order and respect toward a superior.

The violations were found to be substantiated following an internal affairs investigation and stemmed from comments Young made to subordinates about command staff and comments Young made to subordinates in general.

Young, who joined the department Oct. 5, 1998, and had no other substantiated cases against him, was demoted to deputy first class Oct. 22.

The lengths that Mark went to in planning Teresa's murder... I think CWW may be telling the truth. If Mark even has a tiny bit of thought that CWW isn't going to cover for him, and CWW is a huge part of the prosecution team, then I'm sure he would do anything to keep CWW from testifying. I don't know whether CWW is planning to turn on Mark after all this time, but he may very decide it's for the best for HIM. I mean what good would it do to cover for Mark, yet again, and Mark possibly get a lesser sentence? I know CWW committed the murder, yet I think they both need a very long sentencing!

Hi guys...Hi Deb36, After reading CWW's complaint and letters....Ooh geez lahweez, where do I begin? First of all, the "former police officer" has been in jail since March 22, 2018 and the altercation took place 4 months later! (That's a pretty long time to spend in jail just to go after CWW.) At first I wondered why the "former police officer" would have been allowed to even be in the same area as CWW, considering the seriousness of CWW's admitted crimes and cooperation in testifying against Mark Sievers??? I figured CWW was in some sort of
"protected area" of the jail. But then again, "WOULDN'T A FORMER POLICE OFFICER ALSO BE ENTITLED TO EXTRA PROTECTION in a jail???" So, frankly, I don't see anything strange about them being in the same "extra protection area." If CWW had a problem with the former police officer (ironically named MARK, too) being near him, he could have asked to be "rolled out."
As it gets closer to trial for MSievers and JR, I can see all parties getting edgy and worrying about every new inmate that one passes/encounters in the halls, showers and day rooms. I always find it ironic that perpetrators of crime always want to be treated better than they treated their victims!!!
Anywhoo....his story is interesting. CWW wrote "Mark Young became close friends with my co-defendant Mark Sievers." (page 2 first paragraph) Oh my, guess CWW would know all about MS coercing people to commit crimes for him, for financial gain??

Then CWW mentions he received "traumatic brain injury as a result of the attack"(pg 5) but has no problem remembering his card game (pg 3, Aces and Eights?) his Christian beliefs (pg 4. I'll refrain from snark.) or how to write a long letter with, dates, observations and names. Sorry for the long post, but I can see some serious chess playing going on. CWW will eventually claim he is not safe anywhere in Florida and ask to spend his sentence in Missouri. Mummert will challenge CWW's recall because "CWW suffered traumatic head injury at the hands of Mark Young" (cause now we all know it was documented in his letter to the judge....good grief!) I can think of 5 more scenarios and none of them serve justice. ps....It really bothers me that CWW referred to MS as "co-defendant"
instead of "co-conspirator"....did anybody else catch the subtle change????

I'll bet the RANCH on that one, too! Interestingly, CWW is playing the oldest con in the book,
DON'T LOOK AT WHAT I HAVE DONE, LOOK AT HOW I AM BEING VICTIMIZED. Notice how the focus is not on CWW (Mr. Lefty) hitting a defenseless woman with a hammer three times.....It is now about a former member of law enforcement twisting his arm, and breaking his glasses. It is not about him being a jail house snitch and turning on his partner in crime...It is now about LE's failure to protect him, fear of his life, people trying to stop him from exercising his Christian conscience to speak the truth. And amazingly, with his injured left arm in a sling and brain trauma.....CWW (Mr. Lefty) can still write a 7 page later with no difficulty. The guy is not suffering from traumatic anything....He is suffering from DRAMATIC brain injury. I'm guessing CWW and MS have kissed and made up....cuz now they are back to "co-defendants.?"

RANCH I think you are onto something when you wrote, "It's a fantasy."!! It took me 4 hours of research, but I finally found the post I was looking for. It was posted by SKINNER on the Ronnie Bolin thread, post #440. "
Wayne went off the radar for a few weeks. Not answering his phone and not returning messages. Recall, he was writing code for my invention at the time.

When he returned, he told me that he had been arrested on a bogus traffic charge and that a policeman of Jefferson County (almost 100% certain of the county) had been beating him up while in jail, trying to get information about a missing minister. Wayne had been very bruised in his body and ribs, and had to walk rather gently due to the pain.

I had totally forgotten this, but another person I just spoke with a few days ago, who knew nothing at all about the Sievers murder, nor the Bolin case, did know Mark and Wayne through me, and he told me he remembered the missing minister incident and that it was I who had told him, originally. I had totally forgotten about it, but when he reminded me of Wayne saying he had been beaten up while in jail, that jogged my memory. He remembered specifically the fact about a missing minister, which Wayne had told him, too.

'Said that they were trying to beat a confession out of him, which he knew nothing about."

Now, back to my point....CWW could have been injured falling off a motorcycle (then), for all we know...but he is quick to tell others LE was to blame for his injuries! It may be a recurring theme in CWW's psyche.....deflect from his crimes by claiming police abuse and attempt to get sympathy.
Maybe CWW has a habit of claiming he has been abused by law enforcement??? CWW, ever since he was a teenager, has blamed law enforcement for all his ails. As I recall, he even blamed LE for wrecking his car and not reimbursing him for the loss. I remember the subject being brought up a couple of other times, too.
