If CWW just left Missouri when KateB got the message at 7pm, he might not be here yet. It's a 2 hour plus flight. I just don't get the "overnight" reference.

No media at the airport. No booking. I believe they are driving him from MO to Fl.

And taking the scenic route at that! CWW is navigating and knows the route well.

Looks like I'm gonna miss my two favorite shows tonight.
Modern Family and Nashville. them both!
Recording in progress

Jails will often do "courtesy hold" when inmates are in transit, if they were driving him.

And if they are driving him isn't it a possibility that they may be picking up and dropping off another inmate along the way? That may add to the transport time

Did not see much at the airport. May have missed it.

There is also Page Field Airport, for private planes, located in Ft.Myers, off 41 and Fowler St. Extension. Still in use. I believe there's an FBI office on site. Could be they bring him in there, soon.

(41 is also known as Tamiami Trail)

I would think the sheriff would want to keep him in Lee County, so he could stare CWW down, every single day of his incarceration.

It seems like driving a fugitive would be far more dangerous. Food and bathroom
stops. Could be good for conversations though.

Oh yes! Forgot about that airport!

Maybe CWW agreed to show them some bones, along the way. Or maybe LE is purposely dragging it out, just to buy more time for more evidence.....

i found CWW's MySpace pictures very odd. Included pictures of his very modest house. Of each room including one of his washer and dryer. ZZZZZZ. Does he think that's impressive? Just weird.
I was thinking insurance pics. Not that was expensive stuff, but easy way to catalog belongings. IDK why post it on MySpace though.

I would think the long car ride here would make someone restless and chatty. But then again I think he is pretty seasoned to LE's maneuvers.

I initially thought they would drive him back, then I thought that might be too risky. There are 2 smaller private airports close to SW Regional airport. Perhaps LE is staying out of the lime light using one of those venues.

No it's Not had noted the flight times on arrivals from St Louis to Ft Myers. So the Ft Myers Airport...if he's coming in tonight..if on a commercial flight...if...the media should be there, too.

Did not see your post earlier, Kate. Again, there was no media presence at the SWFL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. However, the reporters were -and probably still are- in front of the LC Jail "delivery" entrance.

Considering that CWW had been picked up already last night, he may be transported via road to FL. In any case, I expect him to arrive just in time for the 11pm news coverage. :happydance:

We love you Sheriff Mike Scott!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Curtis Wayne Wright, one of two Missouri men accused of killing Dr. Teresa Sievers, is no longer in a Missouri jail.

....

A spokesman for the Lee County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday afternoon that Wright was not in a Lee County jail.

They have electronic vests and collars they can dress-up prisoners, nowadays. I'd be testing it, every so many miles, just in case CWW might have tried to mess with it. We're expecting a "cold front" down here, in FL. Usually, accompanied by a little rain. Could be fun for LE?

I agree. I don't think they would take the risk of transporting a prisoner, charged of murder, in a high profile case, the 1200 miles.

That's another possibility. But then - the reporters were/are at the LC Jail. With private plane, CWW would have already arrived time ago and Sam Smink (WINK NEWS) would have caught it. By 5pm, LCSO did not have CWW in custody.

They drove the killer of Somer Thompson from LA to Florida.

We know The killer of Hannah Graham flew from Texas to VA.

I wonder why some fly and some drive?
