2015.12.02 Discovery Documents - Batch 1

Anyone know why they had 4 safes? Isn't that a lot for a house of that size with middle income occupants? If Mark did have $40K in one of them maybe it was the money he was supposed to pay the taxes with plus extra he had been funneling?

I remember Skinner talking about MS father's valuable gun collection, and some indication in interview with LE that there were other valuables, perhaps jewelry, etc.

I don't understand why LE didn't account for the money in the safe. Did LE ever actually see the contents in any of the safes or did they just take Marks word?

I remember Skinner (verified friend of MS) said Mark told him he opened the safes for LE.

I just finished skimming the documents. I wonder why CWW had the driver's license of a man with the last name of Ray in his wallet (I will have to go looking for the first name...Charles?... and document number). Did this jump out at anyone else? Is anyone by this name missing?

ETA: He's not missing. He was interviewed per doc 3075. I guess I'm just jumpy. I'm still curious why his license was in CWW's wallet.

And again, the lying in a sworn statement and lying to and gaslighting her family by AW is beyond the pale. Not to mention driving north at a high rate of speed with CWW after learning he would be arrested. Sickening.

This might not mean anything but in the Affidavit, doc 52 page 12, CTW states she maintained daily contact with KM (AW mother) KM stated that on June 30, CWW and AW received notice that TS had been murdered in her home in Bonita Springs and the two departed Florida utilizing CWW registered vehicle that he had picked up from being repaired.
I'm 99% sure I've read AW and CWW rented another vehicle for their return trip to attend the services. (Makes me sick to even think that scum bag and scum bagette would shoe their faces at TS's memorial service but I digress).
So what was it? Did he pick up his Kia or rent another vehicle for the second trip to Florida?
Again, not sure it makes much difference except inconsistencies are never good.

That confused me too MrsArk. But after further reading, we all know that AW is capable of being less than truthful about her intentions right now, and I think she just told her mom they drove BACK to Florida in their Kia for the following reasons.

1. KM knew they were financially struggling.

2. KM wouldn't be able to "rationalize" how they could afford to rent 2 cars back to back when they aren't even able to afford to buy their own groceries.

3. Mom didn't know about all the 100 dollar bills MS sent CWW in the "card." We now know that the "gift" Mark sent did not "fall out" of the card."

We know that when LE raided their home on July 12, CWW was still driving the 2nd "silver" rental car because LE confiscated it from the home. Luckily for LE and us, (not so much for CWW) the GPS that he had borrowed from Jerry was found in CWW's 2nd rental car that he used to drive back to Florida in for the funeral of the woman he murdered :frown:

Wow...the odds are NOT in CWW's favor at all.

I somehow missed the LE raid finding the second rental car from the home. Thanks for helping me keep up! LOTS to digest at once.

ETA- in response to Dmacky's response. Guess I need to work on my quote/snipping function.

I still don't understand why he still had that second rental car when his car was ready before they left for the second trip for Florida :dunno:

I too was confused how the GPS was still in the rental car.....thanks Dmacky for clearing that up....makes total sense now.

ETA: I can certainly imagine how CWW was absolutely sweating blood when LE showed up with the search warrant and took possession of that car! Talk about an "oh cr@p moment"!

Even after that moment in time his family and his lawyer were exclaiming that he was not in Florida. Remember he erased the GPS with Jimmy's email NOT :floorlaugh:

I'm thinking he had no idea that GPS information was recovered until these documents were released to his lawyer with discovery

Oh to be a fly on the wall when they learned about the GPS ..the phone.. and everything else this has been found in discovery.

Someone had mentioned the discrepancy in reporting about which car they took to Florida for the funeral. We know that they took the rental car now, but initially it was KN who told the detectives that they drove the Kia as they had just picked it up from the shop. I think she assumed, naturally, that they would drive their own car and not rent another.

Mark Sievers probably wouldn't stand for his BFF showing up to his wife's funeral in some jalopy- the rental car may have at least looked nicer than CWW Kia.

Oh, but the tech Guru had deleted everything, don't ya know! What a buffoon.

Speaking about the Kia, it sure seems to get around. I remember reading another mention of it having to do with how JR or his GF (says) they got that $10,000. IIRC ~
they said it was money from their INSURANCE company because a tree fell on it.
Insurance fraud maybe?

Found it. It was in the article by Jessica Lipscomb
Tangled web surrounds suspects Curtis “Wayne” Wright, Jimmy Rodgers in death of Dr. Teresa Sievers

That same weekend, Shomaker was in Missouri, throwing a baby shower for a friend, Wendy Crader. Crader said Shomaker told her that her boyfriend was out of state on a job for the construction company he worked for and mentioned he planned to make $10,000 that weekend.

Crader wasn't sure if Rodgers got the money he had talked about, but said the couple purchased a new van soon after. Later, Shomaker told her the van was paid for through their insurance company after a tree fell on their Kia.

Through a relative, Shomaker declined to be interviewed.

Doc 16
#3067: MS refused to give LE initial interview on 6/29 until his friend Gary (typo?) Spiska was present.
#3068: LE wanted to place a GPS tracker on white Mercedes

Anyone know what Mr S does for a living? Is he a lawyer? Why would Mark want him there?

I have no idea why he wanted George Spiska to be with him... This might get even more interesting than we anticipated. As G Spiska is Lenka's husband.
And he is definitely NOT a lawyer.

Special friends?

My thoughts exactly. One in on it I expected. Both? A new twist. Another twist, one fixing to do a MS. jmo.
