According to the DCF website, possible outcomes of Monday's hearing include:

The judge could determine the children could be kept safe with services placed at the home.

The judge could decide the children will be safe if placed with a relative or nonrelative who is willing to care for them.

The judge could decide the children should stay in licensed foster care for the time being.

It was said on Friday that Mark does not need to attend this hearing, but his lawyer does? Am I remembering correctly? Do y'all think he will go anyway?

These decisions regarding the future of the two precious girls is truly the most important aspect of this case now. It is incredible how their loving stay at home dad acted with total disregard for their future life. Joining you all in prayer.

For those in the central time zone that means the hearing starts at 12:30 pm our time.

For Pacific timers it starts at 10:30 am I believe

I hope this Judge does her due diligence and reads through the documents- thoroughly. It is time for some of these people to err on the side of caution- IMO. Can she not speak to the lead detective on the case- ex parte- for clarification? AZL? A lot is at stake here. It seems from what I read of the statute the court is given pretty wide latitude.

I hope we are going to be pleasantly surprised at the outcome, however I won't hold my breath. Mark Seivers is a very dangerous man- that much has got to be clear to the Judge?
