Showing home video of baby Lisa and sound bites from various news channels.

No mother looking for their child uses the word grieving unless they know their child is dead.

Let me see a shot of mommy. Something's different? Liz, did she get her hair cut since the baby went missing? I'm sure this means absolutely nothing...BUT WHEN DO YOU HAVE TIME TO GET YOUR HAIR DONE. (yup, she's yelling)!

Talking about DB not talking about LI, or even if DB has an attachment to the baby. Not talking to the media about likes, dislikes, is she cold, happy, well-fed. This mom is not talking about the child.

Ray Jud --Defense Atty: this is not an abused baby. Look at all the piccies

Nancy: Mommy's behaviour is very very unusual. How does she have time to get her hair done.

Ray: she had it done in a bathroom. Nancy mad - cut him off.

Richard: These are not discussions between the mother and the press, these are bullet statements she makes to the press. Come on - let's get some evidence before you pin it all on the mother.

Sue: You stand and scream as loud as you can to try to get your child on every single tv screen. Drunk, passed out, she'll prolly blame Roy Kronk.

Nancy: I lost John David for 3 minutes and screamed at the top of my longs.

Atty: you did what every good mother does. The mothers/fathers would go crazy, and this doesn't sound right to me at all.

All paraphrased - thanks.

Mel

Uh oh, Nancy...yew iz in trubble now. :floorlaugh:

"We would not want that." Nancy's response to Gil's prediction one of the parents may commit suicide if things continue as they are.

 Boldest assumption yet, imo.

Gil Abeyta told the Irwin family they were making some mistakes by not talking to the media.

(Not sure Gil should have stepped into trying to advise the family)

Last Friday, three Kansas City residents came forward to say that they saw a suspicious man walking the streets with an infant on the night that Baby Lisa disappeared.

Two other witnesses, who were not named, said they encountered a similar scene a few hours earlier.

Huh???

Gil says he could not speak to the parents alone as he had hoped, so he ended up telling them to contact him when and if they want to talk...he wanted to go over things in great detail but did not have the chance to do so.

Parents refusing to speak to the media. Marc Klass: they need to be the cheerleader for their child - there's no better advocate.

Cops also take the boys saliva, their spit, to compare to unidentified DNA.

Time is so cruicial here.

Police hone in, converge, on a lake less than 2 miles from thier home. Cadaver dogs line the lake, even taking the lake by boat.

Mike explain to me and to the viewers how a cadaver dog would find a dead body in a lake:

What happens is the body builds up gas and those gasses bubble to to the surface. That's what the dogs are trying to smell.

Nancy: dope, excellerant under water, they certainly can today smell all kinds of things to determine if baby Lisa is in the water.

Caller: the witnesses say they saw a near naked baby? Was baby alive, and does JI have an airtight alibi?

Nancy: The father does have an airtight alibi, to the extent that LE only did a polly on mommy. They have him working thru the night until 4 AM at a local starbucks as a second job. My understanding is he is in the clear. Who saw Lisa last besides the mommy?

I've seen reports that a neighbor was over watching the children when mommy was at the store buying box o' wine. Neighbor not talking.

Pat: I would like the family/lawyer to clear up some of these problems. Was the father really at work? The daddy should come out and say why his alibi is so tight (video or co-worker). Babies are normally taken because someone wants them. Children for sexual reasons.

Gil Abayta special guest: Gil's son missing for 25 years. You have been in a similar spot, and here is an age progression photo of your missing child. What happened when you met with D & J.

Gil: Let me respond - the advantage that I have is I am a victim, I'm not guilty, we're here to help them not hurt them. I met them for 30 minutes. They were incapable of being able to respond intelligently. They brought in people that told them not to talk. They are scared like rabbits in a cage. Someone is gonna commit suicide.

Showing shots of gil's baby. Nancy: what happened when you met with J&D.

I've been here over 3 weeks and I usually go to the mother father. I met with some of the family, finally went in there (parents). They didn't recognize me - 2nd time I went in with a number of people. Didn't have the right conditions to sit down and listen.

They were receptive, but wasn't the right opportunity. I expected we would sit down with no one around to review some of the problems going on. Didn't have that opportunity - too many people. Not the right conditions. I wanted more. I said I will be back when you want me, if you want me. You're making a few mistakes.

(my note: it doesn't appear Gil even talked to the parents as per his response).

Caller: Window/Door situation. Why would anyone need to go thru the window if the door is unlocked.

Spellman: Theory in the window, very difficult, most visible, come out after turning lights on thru the front door.

Nancy: How high is Baby Lisa's.

Spellman: high, in back yard, slopes down, but it would be high.

Caller asks if DB's brother (the wine guy) has been interviewed. I sure hope so.

Yes, that automatically brought back memories of the Duckett (sorry if I spelled wrong) case ! And we can't have that can we ? :escape:

Lawyer saying that they missed an opportunity by not following through with the arrangements for today...they need to clear up some of these loose ends, etc...
NG saying parents must offer themselves up so that LE can get off of them and move on...
All lawyers agreeing that today should not have been cxld, even if parents not there.

(But everyone seems to be acting as though time is not a factor-this is what I don't get, and not part of the show.)

Thank you for finding this!!!!

I don't think there is anything interesting about this. The reporter appears to be confused. One motorcycle guy came forward last week. Two other witnesses (husband and wife) contacted police presumably on Oct 4 or soon thereafter. That makes 3 witnesses total, not three and two.

Other lawyer thinks the family and their lawyers owe the media/public nothing...
But NG says they were the ones who offered it up (to look at the home) so should not have cancelled it.

Richard Herman feels that the family doesn't owe the media the opportunity to walk throught the house.

Nancy: They offered it up and they canceled. (short and sweet version)

Out to the lines.

Annette: <nancy lost 25 pounds>. When was DB buying the box o' wine, who was that.

Nancy: it was her brother.

Annette: Did he take a LDT? Can you tell me who else saw the baby last, and what did the brother have to add.

Steve: We're not exactly sure who saw baby Lisa. Daddy was home while mommy was out buying wine. Everything is a blur after daddy went to work since mommy was drinking. Police not talking about brother.

What happened today (to Sue Moss)

Sue: there has to be a reason why. Bring one of those pool cameras, let this story become alive for all people so they can continue to search.

Ray: Attorney should answer questions that are all bothering us. Put these issues to rest.

Nancy: questions are impeding the investigation. If someone took baby, then they need to sit down with the cops. Marc Klass offered himself up, get off me and look for my child.

Atty: they have counsel. There may be other opportunities in the future. I do agree with you on that. Disagree on separate questioning. Attorney missed a good opportunity today by not having the tour and answer the basic questions (which could be answered by the lawyer).

Disagree with some of my colleagues. They owe the media and public NUFFIN.

Nancy: you're wrong. They don't. But they offerred it up, but just before they cancelled.

To Ellie: what more can you tell me about the white blob?

Ellie: LE and FBI reviewed that tape, unknown if they can tell who it is, what is is, etc.
