Alas, Do we all forget all the stuffed animals George had thrown away early in the investigation? Did LE confiscate that bag?

Just learned of this and if I were a detective That would certainly have thrown up a red flag . You can not get DNA off a stuffed animal. It is possible that when they went to the trunk they found the stuffed animal unexpectedly as well as what was in the warrant. If the woman here had gone back to the car to get an evidence bag, the media who took the picture would have gotten a great photo of the bear/item, so they decided just to take it. It does look like the male is shielding it with the bag.

JMO but if that lady was holding THE blackjack or any evidence (A bear which may have DNA on it) - she WOULD have gloves on, period!!!!

LOTS of people have blackjack, or blackjack type phones.

I don't think you need to stare like that to turn a mag lite on.

It's a still picture, not video. I doubt she sat there staring it at it. A picture only captures less than a second in one frame.

I own/shoot several guns also and endorsed/licensed to carry a weapon, which I do daily. lol..If it is a small handgun, no it possibly wouldn't cause the bottom of the bag to sag, but it also wouldn't cause the sides of the bag to bulge out like it appears in the pics.

I have a 38 S&W that I put into a paper bag with the barrel length side down, hand grip pointed up, and it doesn*t sag the bag. I also didn*t unfold the bottom of the bag since it doesn*t appear to be unfolded in the picture (bottom of bag like an envelope). Looks the same as the picture.

Good point. LE could be doing a garbage grab thing on the Anthony's. It's not uncommon for LE to seize trash after someone puts it out for removal. I believe it is considered public property at that point?

No gloves on in that picture [big no no for CSI tech's] so I would say whatever they wanted has already been put in the paperbag. The commentary that went along with the video said 'police removed items' from the back of GA vehicle. Just guessing but two wheels chocks would be plural. Could also be a small handgun. If they though that a body had been moved in that car they would have had dogs and then called for a tow truck to remove the vehicle.
Wheel chocks can be made of rubber or heavy duty plastic. In GA interview with GVS he was saying he wanted the wheel chocks so he could rotate the tires on Cindy's car and Casey was hedging on going to get them out the trunk of her car. GA went to go get them himself and that is when he found the gas cans.
Maybe LE wants to test those to see if there is any evidence of decomp or chloroform on them. That has always been a big hole for me. GA opens the trunk on 6.24, finds gas cans [no mention of smell] that he has reported stolen from shed- Casey's car gets dumped 6.27, towed 6.30 and retreived 7.15 with decomp. So either there was no body in the trunk on the 6.24 date and it was put in there after but is also then had to have been removed by 6.27 when it was left at Amscot. The lady at Amscot noticed the car at 7:00AM when she came in on that morning.
That is a 2-1/2 to 3 day window depending on the time GA found the gas cans. that Caylee would have been transported in the trunk.

I've noticed this tit for tat thing since it all began. I'm just happy LE reminds them of who is in control here.

Wouldn't it figure? The one night, THE ONE NIGHT, that I go to bed before dawn, this happens. Just GRRRRR.
By the way, I see a MagLite, no question in my mind. And the plainclothes woman that is holding it does have a glove on one hand but not the othr as far as I can see.
