Bam, could you refresh our memories about George throwing stuffed animals away? When, where, etc. Don't remember hearing a thing about it.

I'm not Bam, but the Anthony's threw away a lot of toys and stuffed animals that were sent by people across the country for Caylee. They threw them away because they were dirty or smelled like smoke.

My initial thought is that they were looking for a gun. George has a hot temper and there have been times when he has gone off on protesters. Maybe one of the protesters said George threatened them with a gun.

The last thing they would want is more violence.

However, Florida is a "carry" state. That means if you have a carry permit you can have a gun in your car. I live in CO which is also a carry state and Mr.Curiosity and I carry guns with us at all times.

IF George doesn't have a carry permit they could take his gun legally without a warrant.

I have a hard time believing it was evidence as the CSI person was not gloved.

I think it was a gun and George may not have a carry permit.

IMHO

after the poi's latest release a spokesman from the jail said that one of the release conditions for home confinement is that there are no weapons in the home.

Good morning everyone. The night crew was busy last night! I think the lady is holding a maglight and a stuffed animal. The bottom of the feet are pretty obvious to me.

However, I did have a thought about Georges obsession with cleaning cars. The stuffed animal could also be one of those car wash mitts. Casey's car got washed sometime in between the towyard and when it was confiscated. Think about that and it makes you go hmmmmmm. Below is a link to a car wash mitt. It looked like a stuffed animal to me, but it could be a car washing mit. My guess would be it was the bear that the Anthony's had on the today show (shown in a picture in previous post) and that is why it was being handled w/o gloves, etc. It probably had already been "cleared".

Question..do we have any info from the start of LE arriving at the home last night?

They had a warrant..so did they go to the front door and knock?

Who answered the door?

Why didn't that person stay with LE while they searched the trunk?

It doesn't show that on the video that I saw. One would have to assume they did go to the front door and serve them since they had to be let into the garage.

They don't usually allow the people to stand around why they search, imo. I would imagine they simply asked them to stay in the house.

I can see them getting his gun out of the spare tire area without gloves since it is not evidence.

Who was it that got in that car just a minute or two ago? She had dark hair like Casey, but I'm pretty sure Casey's not going out and about today. At least not alone.

yesterday msm reported that the car (same tan color as the one just noted on the webcam) that visiting was the home confinement officer. Could this have been the home confinement officer again checking on something or other???

I don't, LE pushed the envelope when they arrested Casey in the middle of a protest and while the TV programs were rolling.

I don't want LE's frustration to compromise any justice for Caylee. I do believe George called his own self in over suggestions (read demands) of Baez.

While I detest Casey I don't want a DARN thing to compromise Caylee's case!

Sigh... Oh well. I wonder why they confiscated it at 2 in the morning if they aren't going to arrest her. Lol just hopeful thinking.

I don't think that's a bear we're seeing in that picture. I believe her mag light is turned towards her and is on, and because it's close to her body and the bag, there's a sort of halo type effect.

Just learned of this and if I were a detective That would certainly have thrown up a red flag . You can not get DNA off a stuffed animal. It is possible that when they went to the trunk they found the stuffed animal unexpectedly as well as what was in the warrant. If the woman here had gone back to the car to get an evidence bag, the media who took the picture would have gotten a great photo of the bear/item, so they decided just to take it. It does look like the male is shielding it with the bag.

I assure you that you CAN retrieve DNA from a stuffed animal.

I still do not understand why they were so wasteful with those. It seems to me they could be freshened up and given to someone else....gosh...even puppies like to have stuffed animals to cuddle. A waste...

I don't believe that they pushed anything when they chose to arrest her. She had committed another crime, they could have gone and gotten her any time including in front of the cameras.
I don't think it's about frustration, I think it's about disappointment. I sincerely hope that they have a lot more than what we have seen or there will never be "Caylee's case." IMO.

That's true. But the gun wasn't technically in the home. If George had it in the car technically speaking he might be able to get it back. If it was a gun.

I doubt if they will rearrest her over this.

I think LE wants George to know that they are on to his every move.

The sheriff is probably an elected official. Right now the majority of the public is "with him" and he knows it. Therefore he feels empowered to "harass" within the confines of the law. If you get my drift. LOL

Irishbosoxfan - THANK YOU!! I was thinking the same thing about this becoming an out of control tangent and people seeing what they want to.

I don't think it was an out of control tangent. It was just a curiousity some of us had about what was in her hand. I don't think any of us said what's that "evidence" in her hand or even insinuated it was an anything of importance.

also....this explains why they didn't have gloves on...they were removing his weapon.
