well i have them in my truck because i tow a boat, and a toy hauler. i always wedge/jam something behind or in front of the tires when i unhook whatever i'm towing at my destination. george was towing that big sign. maybe he used the chucks for that when they unhooked the setup???

My dad also but most people don't when rotating because it's usually 2 off 2 on and unless it's something you do for a living you don't get into the chock routine and use just stands

The question is what innocent thing do people keep in tire wells other than tires? I thought maybe a gun because I knew someone that stored one there. I cannot imagine that wedges would fit in a tire well if there is a spare in there. Maybe they were just doing a clean sweep of the entire car?

Telling that would not put out the same negative impression LE wanted to put out there. Makes it look more sinister to just leak the information about computer serarches without providing proof.

When I first read this thread I thought to myself, I wonder if someone tried to plant something on George's car? (a bomb) Since there are so many angry people out there, you just never know. But Im sure youd see alot more people there than just regular LE.

If it were a bomb or suspicious device like that, they would have the bomb squad out there and they would all be in protective gear. So no, no bomb imo
