A little bit of information can lead to bigger leads. Suppose you were one of Casey's friends and you had some information but you didn't want to pass it on because it would make her situation worse and it couldn't possibly help in finding Caylee anyway. Then lets say the leak about the chloroform comes out and you're hearing about it and then it dawns on you that "OMG...someone you know was missing a bottle of chloroform" and Casey was visiting them at work that day. Then that leak would in fact be beneficial to the case.

Excellent thought! Thanks for posting it.

I don't know about it being a flashlight...she's holding it pretty gingerly...I know I don't hold flashlights in that manner -- especially large ones...

thanks, SS--it was needed!

Can someone give me the link to the original pictures from the newspaper website. Maybe I can get some with better resolution to blow up since I was just blowing up a screen shot someone else had done.

Is it possible that it could be a GPS tracking device that LE placed there the day they took KC's car. They may have had a warrant to place one on his car to see everywhere he was going. I am not sure where they are usually placed on cars but since GA was in LE at one time they may have chose this place. It may have a deadline on how long it could on GA car so they needed to come retrieve it. Therefore they wouldnt need gloves for this. It would be small enough to fit in bag.

The GA timeline is intriguing. However, I thought CA and GA were not on good terms. I recall reading in the docs that AH or someone like that mentioned that things were bad at home and that she *hated* GA. Why would CA go along with this elaborate scheme if she didn't trust him? Just thinking out loud.

It is suspect that CiA was making frantic 911 calls, yet GA seemed so calm. He has not demonstrated a particularly stoic demeanor. Wonder if he really knew or he just suspected at that point. He was LE. He had to have some intuition or gut feeling. CiA did at that time, hence the "smells like a dead dam# body"

Why use gloves since fingerprints cannot be taken from such an object?

Thanks SS....I had thought the same thing too. Can't get fingerprints off a stuffed animal.

Since it was hidden in the tire well that is saying alot. Also LE is keeping everything real close to there vests. Chances are they know "WHOLE LOT MORE" then they're letting out.

The A never hired a hire profile lawyer for nothing. The walls are closing in. Everyone thought it was Lee maybe it was George since he is such a great ex cop!

I don't understand:

1. Why didn't LE / CSI have gloves on???
2. How did they get this tip?

Did I miss this in this thread somewhere? Cause there are a lot of pages!
I do not think we are sure yet Tabby.

OK, I'll stop, I give up. It is impossible to tell what she is holding I guess. It is all in the eye of the beholder. I'm glad that LE did this in the middle of the night. I am glad that all of the protesters were gone when this went on. Too bad that everyone in the house was roused and their sleep disturbed (not). I'm afraid that the LE are going to have to use tactics like this to continue to put on the pressure. Someone before this post wondered why this has captured so many peoples attention. At my age I thought I'd seen just about all there is to see but this takes the cake. If one is going to try to lie to get out of something the least you can do is lie well. None of these people know how to tell a lie well. They also are inept at dealing with the press and public. Way back in the beginning someone should have gotten to them and advised them to shut up, not to speculate in public, and refer to their attnys. It is astounding the things that come out of their mouths. I think that is why people are wrapped up in this and the life of a beautiful child is in the balance.

Time to step away from the computer and take a break. Check you all later for an update.

Please don't take this wrong, but how many reasons could there be to lie? I can only think of one. Maybe I'm just shortsighted.

Where I come from, Judges direct juries that people may lie for many reasons....fear, might not want to become involved, protecting others etc....for example, if you see a guy shoot a guy and the police speak to you, you may say "i didn't see it" because you don't want to get involved or are scared of the perp....it doesn't mean you are the person who shot the guy.

But of course, another reason people lie, is "consciousness of guilt".

Funny thing is my son got up through the night , was gonna check in and said to myself probly nothing going on except for the protesters.

In that case it should be brought to LE, not the media and LE should investigate not leak to the media about it.
