A perfect mission. They had a 30sec delay ready and never had to use it, they also had the flag blocking the cable in case something went wrong, didn't have to be used either. Luis volunteered to be last. Luis set up food rations, bathroom time, work time just on and on. HE IS HERE. 69 days 8:55.est 9:55 Chilean time.

What a miracle, Welcome Back from hell, miners.

Wonder how many will return to mining jobs?

I will pray for their mental and physical health in the days weeks and years to come. Very brave men, all of them.

Well this is it history being made right here right now. The man who holds the record for being underground for the longest Luis Alberto Urzua is about to make his way to the surface forever. He was the first to report the tragedy. He is also known as the leader and kept everyone's spirits up.

He is the shift leader so a leader never leaves his men behind.

This has been such a wonderful love story. I loved to see the men hugging each other. They seem to be so comfortable in their own skin. There is a lot of love there and bonds that can never be broken.

IMO

Now they need to get the 5 rescuers up (some of us have been watching CNN on and off for close to 24 hours straight)

Guy on CNN saying we need to call in the Chilean government if we ever have a disaster. It took us 3+ months to plug a 7" hole in the gulf. It took barely 2 months to rescue 33 human beings from miles underground. :)

Sooooooooooooo glad that all of these men are alive. Now to get those rescuers back up.

I'm listening to the Chilean President's inspirational speech right now. This is the attitude that got the job done!
