I've been cryin' for two days (even at work) watching these men come up to their loved ones; thank you to our gracious, heavenly Father for being with these men and giving their rescuers, the medics, the engineers and all involved the strength and wisdom to bring them up!!! What a wonderful story that the whole world is rejoicing in!!

I'm listening to the Chilean President's inspirational speech right now. This is the attitude that got the job done!

He seems an awesome man. I wish he was our President here in England. He really does seem to care.

Guy on CNN saying we need to call in the Chilean government if we ever have a disaster. It took us 3+ months to plug a 7" hole in the gulf. It took barely 2 months to rescue 33 human beings from miles underground. :)

Sooooooooooooo glad that all of these men are alive. Now to get those rescuers back up.

Whats funny is this! almost every one who was helping the Chilean government was from the US. We helped!

Just saw on the news that the Chilean Embassy here in DC set up a large event tent with a jumbo-tron so people could watch it and show support. Seeing the crowd that turned out was heart-warming.

ABC is running a special on the rescue, if anyone is interested...

My friend posted this on facebook earlier...I thought it was fitting:

File Under Pure Awesomeness: The Chilean Miners story could have had a tragic ending, had Chilean officials not chosen a very wise path: they asked the world for help when they knew they needed it. Asking for help when we need it is always the right thing to do - unless it's an exam you didn't study for. There's no unscrewing that.

There were 6 rescuers (not 5 as I thought)

I love Anderson Cooper - he'll be covering this story until the last person is up from the mine.

Originally there were 5 rescuers, but they sent another person down this morning.

I'm watching till they are all out too. How amazing the rescurers are who actually went down there. They were so important to help get the miners up safely.

So, so, many people contributed to make this work. A High Five to each and every one!!!!!!

2 more rescuers to go - The first one, Manual Gonzales, he is my personal hero. Is he still down there? I couldn't find the names of the rescuers but I remembered his name from last night.
Now hearing about the technology they used - fiber optic wiring.

All Chileans should be so proud of their country and their people today! God bless the miners, the rescuers and their families.
Wow! It has been an intense and emotional couple of days. Two rescuers to go, one is rising! I'd hate to be that last guy all by himself. Heroes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ooh, there he is Manual - still down there ?!

This has been such an uplifting experience for me ( I don't think I've posted this much ever!)

Okay, as soon as I see him get to the surface I can sign off CNN.

Miracles do happen.
