I think it was mentioned on the recent local news channel segment bc another WB'er mentioned it on a thread a day or so ago. I think it is definitely new info!!I just finished watching. I found it interesting MBB's friend said she believes he must have been a regular. Also at the end Geraldine Hart said the belt belongs to a large male. Did we already know that or is that new information?
Sidenote: I am glad they mentioned plenty about Burke! It was interesting hearing what Det. Varrone had to say.

agreed, its all so frustrating. IMO "he" has stopped killing. As far as i know there have been no other bodies found in the same manor as the GB4. And for someone to lay them all out in that way is obviously horrific, but it mustve meant something to that person, other than just quickly dumping them off in the woods. That took more time and harder work to wrap and bury them. To call and taunt family. It was evil for sure, but definitely a calculated process. Here's the issue I have with this case, and I think "48 hours" cemented it. Even with renewed media like the "48 hours" episode, we're talking about a 10 year cold case. It languished without FBI help for several years due to inept policing. The beach that the bodies we're found in lies 1 hour from 4 out of the 5 boroughs and most of Long Island and all we really know is, "Large Male, Possible Initials 'H/M' or "W/H", victim type 5' or under, Hazel Green Eyes, 100lbs or less." Half of which we just found out ten years later.
We also know because of all the media attention he isn't dumping in Gilgo anymore, but we also know Serial Killers just don't stop. So unless someone stumbles upon his new dumping ground or he becomes very very sloppy (doubtful he's had 10 years to perfect his ritual) then he may never be caught in a city that size where women go missing all the time.
There is absolutely a train from Penn to LI. With something close to 10 stops on the island. There’s no train from Penn to LI I don’t believe. What was she talking about her sister going from Penn to LI?

If memory serves, Missy simply said that Maureen's last call to her came from Penn Station. The only time she mentioned LI was to say that Maureen's cell phone pinged from there after she went missing.
Even though VM is not a part of the Gilgo 4, I have been wondering a lot about HOW she got to LI. Hart said it was basically a one time visit for her. So its likely she didnt have a driver, she mustve also taken public transit and was lured with large amount of cash, IMO. I feel like her HOW, is really important as well.Perhaps Maureen was given instructions by someone she had seen before. Possible he saw her in the city and build up rapport and then asked her to come out to Long Island, offering more money for an overnight. If he told her to board the train and get off at [insert station] it would explain why she would be at Penn.
This is often not discussed, how did these women get from NYC to LI? Do we think Melissa was picked up in the Bronx?
I believe it's more likely they were directed to take public transit and then were picked up somewhere on the Babylon line.
