Does anyone have a link for the older article by the Toronto Journalist that went into Paul Bernardo's segregation unit at the Pen, and gave a rundown of the daily conditions?

I find it extremely interesting that PB has been in prison since 1995, Wills 2007 and RW 2010 and that Wills was only recently moved to a prison in BC even though the articles infer he's been a problem prisoner for a while now. Does RW have that much power inside a prison that an inmate would be moved after he (and PB) complained about sleepless nights and other issues? Wouldn't PB have complained prior to RW's arrival?

That demonic had the evil intention to talk to Tara like that in his pathetic, sorry-a** statement yesterday, and the nerve to even TALK about Daryn's Statement, and IMO, it showed the depths of his depravity in just that short amount of time.

I will not be surprised to see a media interview with him, as I am sure he will want more attention, and just like Tara said, he wants to continue to control.

There are other psychopathic rapists and murderers who have done this also, are there not? They try and torment the living victims of their crimes?

Also showed he's too much of a coward to direct his comments to Rodney, but instead to Tara and Daryn ... women and children.

I don't have a link to support but there were other issues with Wills. Issues the public will never know. In my opinion there were more complaints from the Floor Officers given attention that Bernardo's. Overall sounds like he created tension and security risks. I think he was moved first as he was the instigator. They all will be moved eventually when KP closes. MOO

Very interesting article. If you picture bernardo smiling it could pass off as him. Obviously there is only 1/8th of a face in that picture but it could be. What would be the odds of that? Being at the same school is odds enough.

A friend of mind who is the same age as Bernardo lived in Scarbourgh and was in scouts with Bernardo. How creepy is that?? He said he doesnt really remember him but one time they were at some camp and IIRC he said that Bernardo tried to scare some girls when he would rip open their tents to scare them. Thats all he really remembers. He said he has a picture somewhere but I didnt ask to look at it. I find that particular guy weird myself LOL..

how do you know that MTR is in Millhaven now?
Will he stay there or will he be moved to Kingston?

I wished I could be a ghost and spy on the ass how he is doing now. I would like to be his nightmare, haunt him down, drive him crazy and after a few years gently offer him a hammer....get it done and over with...you know what you can do with it. I truly don't believe that anybody is born this way.
How can anybody see something else in a child than simply a child?
How can one have sexuell feelings seeing a child?
Why do these people don't seek help when they notice this sick feelings?
Why risking ending up in an horrible prison and being on the *everybody would like to kill me* list?
I still would like to have way more infos about mtr than that what's giving. How was his childhood? Where and who is his real father? How was the relationship with his mother all his life?
When did he started to hate women and why?

I could continue all day. That's how full my head is.

Concerning Wills, I read an article not long ago that they moved him because he was not only disruptive to other prisoners but also the staff. I heard staff at KP were very happy to get rid of him.

That could have been the point tho, I think Wills wanted to be moved out of KP, he got his wish.

It was the ground floor wing for the worst of the worst, the sexual offenders who had to be housed by themselves for their own safety. Plexiglas across the bars in this area of the prison prevented other inmates from hurling objects at them. In prison culture, men who rape and kill children are considered the lowest of the low. Injuring them would be a badge of honour.

I would ask him WHAT PUZZLE? He is a sick pedophile whose life mission was to do what he did and he accomplished it through fatefully meeting another sick person to help him do what he fantasized about doing for a long, long time.

He premeditated the whole crime and TLM was happy to oblige, as she had her own issues.

I do not believe for one moment her past came back to haunt her during the crime. That would be like saying she didn't know why she went into the HD to pick up garbage bags and a hammer. These two demons had the murder planned from the moment TS was kidnapped.

These two demonic people, tortured, raped, and murdered a little girl. No puzzle to put together. All the pieces fit perfectly. The only aspect of the case I would concede is that TLM assisted in putting MTR where he belongs, however, 25 years is hardly long enough, which puts him back into society at the approx. age of 56 -- what a thought :banghead:

The Canadian prison system isn't about locking people up and throwing away the key, or about euthanizing them. There is a rehabilitation component, with the hope that when people are released they can make a new start. In my opinion, with all the psychologists and psychiatrists we have today, there is no excuse for throwing one's hands in the air and claiming that there's nothing to be done to modify criminal behavior. Even in the ugliest of dangerous, overcrowded prisons in Peru, there are programs, like pottery, cooking and leather craft, to help rehabilitate prisoners. In Italy, prisoners have creative writing contests, dance night, live bands brought in to entertain prisoners, study programs and many other activities to assist convicted murderers become better people.

Do you really believe that MR can be rehabilitated?

Lets just say he is rehabilitated, would you want him as your neighbour?

Personally, I do not think that sex offenders can be rehabilitated! MOO, JMO

IMO the puzzle has been solved also and TM should not keep saying we need the puzzle solved as this gives MR confidence that there are doubts out there about what really happened. MOO.

I swear those questions have always been in my head. Not just with Rafferty but people in general that prey on children. It bothers me a lot and I need to know why. A lot of MR's past has not been brought up. I feel that there is something missing there that is key to why he is like that. JMO
