It looks like half of a murderous Ontario couple is trying to get away with murder. The victim was 13 years old, lured by a woman and given to a pedophile, viciously stabbed and beaten. The injuries were inflicted while both parties were at the same residence and she washed blood out of his clothes after the murder. Should she be found not guilty? She has been ... this is a cause worth paying attention to ... follow the prosecution's case and act on the victim's sake. Make sure that this woman, violent like McClintic, is not free like Homolka.

One thing that could be proactively done in relation to the murder of Victoria Stafford is to quickly identify and stop similar couples ... see both parties fully prosecuted ... no more Karla Homolka women sneaking off and getting away with murder.

She wasn't in the bedroom, they say, but after luring the child she gave her to an older man; her boyfriend ... and the child was stabbed 37 times and beaten, but the accused woman did nothing because she and her couple accomplice claim that she didn't enter the bedroom? Why didn't she do anything? Is she completely stupid that when a child is being murdered in the bedroom, and she is in the hallway outside the bedroom, she cannot make the right choice? She was trying to make him like her and she was willing to do anything ... and now she needs to be put away for a long time for participating in that brutal murder "for kicks".

Would Rafferty ever have the guts to tell Victoria's mother that her daughter was murdered "for kicks"? That's what Rafferty and McClintic were up to that day ... getting off on hurting someone.

One of the posters mentioned that nobody will voluntarily submit to being labelled and all that goes with being labelled to get help.

I wonder if gov't should try a new and progressive way to get a handle on pedophiles and rapists. If you believe that some are haunted by their demons but would if they had a choice were able to manage them BEFORE they harm someone...perhaps this could work.

1. govt starts an add campaign about...halting desires that harm others and harm your own life ie prison etc. The campaign would promote Depo Provera for hormone reduction in males which lessens desires and abnormal sexual thoughts. And Ben Peridol for resistant unwanted criminal thoughts. Make it a pro-active campaign much the same as they do for Herpes, Viagra or helplines etc. Make it clear that accessing the medications is 100 percent private (no name tracking) and can be purchased without prescription through your pharmacy.

2. put these meds not under the direction of a doctor but in the pharmacies much like the morning after pills. So that those who recognize they have a problem but do not want to be labelled and penalized can access these treatments in private and tell pharmacies they are not to track names of anyone purchasing them.

3. gov't funds these two meds to keep the costs of these medications low

4. gov't includes all safety information for the patient but also includes a no liability waiver with the packaging.

What we are doing now is closing the door on the barn once the horse has already escaped. I think we have to look at more pro-active ways to get to the route of this problem and SOLVE it.

I think when we were first sleuthing this we thought we had found a picture of him in a ballcap at the vigil. If we can access the old threads I will look for it later.

The interview with Charles Adler gave Rodney and his Mother the chance to explain what they were feeling, no holds barred. It's something they deserved. I appreciate that.

That was new to me too. I knew that he was planning on going there. Didn't he tell that one of his ex girls?

the area where he is going in KP was retrofitted for these special cases. So until the NEW areas at other prisons are ready they have to stay there I am guessing. :moo:

I think they assess where he should be placed and his special needs that sort of thing. He actually is already in Kingston ( just outside of Kingston) at Millhaven. He will be moved to KP soon if he hasn't already been. Chatham is a provincial jail and the prisons here in Kingston are Federal. Becuase of his sentence he goes Federal. HTH
