Yes, I am a survivor by nature. So I am sure I will do fine. I have only one daughter and 3 sons. Between them (the boys) and TJ, they have really toughened me up. But when the time comes, I sure would appreciate all of your prayers. Cami will have the scoop, I am sure. She is my official communication sleuther. She will keep y'all posted. Won't you, Cami???

Absolument mon ami. TJ and I will be burning up the airwaves never fear. We will keep everyone apprised. The first place I am going to visit upon retirement is Goody and TJ so watch out here I come, LOL.

Goody, I'm so glad TJ and Cami will be able to keep us posted on when you're having your surgery. It would be great, too, if they could give us an address to send cards and stuff to the hospital while you're there for 3 weeks. Perhaps you could just PM one of us with that info rather than put it directly on the forum. I'll keep you in my prayers that your call for surgery comes soon!

Yes, I just mailed mine to Ed/TJ and he took them to the hospital with him and read them to her but yeah we should be able to send things to the hospital, like flowers and such.

Okay, right on you get bragging rights when it comes to hockey. I watch the draft every year so I'll be watching when your son goes first over all. Do you go to that tournament in New Brunswick? I live in the next province so I am close.

I used to love going to the rink with mine and I miss it! He played right up until midget--only house league though. He's looking for a gentlemens' league right now to play in.

i was hoping if i threw in something about hockey, you might figure we might not be too bad as room mates!! we played in toronto and in pelham...pelham was wonderful-- tiny tiny town that treated the kids from florida like kings....especially since the florida kids almost took the tourney! I keep telling my husband after squirts -it is all over...already getting to rough for me!
sorry--ot/...this will put it back--- too bad darlie cant have these kind of conversations..huh?

Ohhhh, J2, this is going to work out great... my nephew is also 9. Of course, he doesn't have a sports bone in his body. He's all brainiac. And yes, Cami, we always have room for one more in our new Franklin abode! Beesy will be so pleased that currently half of the Darlie forum will be living right around the corner from her! LOL!

J2, we definitely need hubby... and the way I see it, it's a beeeeg ol' house so there's plenty of room for the fish, too. After all, if we can accommodate Cami, surely there's room for your fish! Sure wish this was more of a reality than it is.

I don't think they will EVER sell this house. Who could live there besides the Manson family? Wouldn't it be nice if some wealthy person bought it, tore it down and built a memorial park for Devon and Damon?
It's already been bought and sold several times. Somebody will buy it again I suppose

Yes, it is lovely,isn't it?

I love it too. As a teen I thought it sucked, nothing to do, waaah, so we drank alot and drove around..Franklin has much more now than it did then. We went years w/o a movie theater.

My lung usage is about 24% right now, which is an improvement from 20% a few months ago.

Oh Goody, you told me your lungs were bad, but I didn't realize they were that bad. It must feel awful not being able to catch your breath. :blowkiss:

Exactly what I was wondering, J2. LOL! Perhaps "terrified" would be the word Beesy is looking for! Don't worry, Beesy, I have to sell my house before I can consider buying another one... so I'm sure that one will be gone before that would happen. That's amazing that all 3 of us have 9 year old boys. BTW, does your town have a Walmart??? I'm not sure I can live in a town without one... LOL!

It is quite a coinsidence(sp) on the boys isnt it? The wal mart thing is looking good too- I am not a shopper-- if you cant buy it at target ar walmart--- you just dont need it--I am thinking "terrified" was the word she wanted to use also!
Hubby wants to know if there is an ice rink close, too, beesy--- looks like you need not worry about the new neighbors;)

J2, we may need to just move over from Franklin a town or two to this new house I've found for us... and I can afford this one! It has 5 bedrooms, but surely we could all squeeze into that one just fine! And when Beesy is being a NICE girl, we can invite her over to have iced tea on our lovely new wrap-around porch. Oh, and all of the pets can run on our 2+ acres of land. Still no a/c in this house either. Bummers.
