Woman? Woman? :snooty: Maple leaves or no, they look like flames. You just better keep your torch-wielding hockey buffs where they belong, luv.

Not to worry, J2... one of us just needs to gently tap Beesy up side the head with one of those hockey sticks to calm her down. She hasn't been the same since she spotted those flaming maple leaves! She's probably got a touch too much caffeine pumping through her veins with all of that hot chocolate, tea, and coffee.

But but but... I said GENTLY TAP you. LOL! (I hope you know I was kidding!)

Hey, Beesy, why don't you join us over on the Perry March forum. It's pretty slow right now (lack of news) but there's lots of good stuff to work with from the past.

The Perry March forum is here on WS... it's up higher on the list (the next subgroup up) than the Darlie case. Perry March was just arrested the beginning of August for murdering his wife, Janet, nine years ago (August 15, 1996), even though her body has never been found. It's a very interesting case and Goody posts on that forum, too!

I just found out that they are going to try him for the theft charge first, so the murder trial is being put off. I bet they won't have it until sometime next year. grrrrrrrr...........

Only if you become an American citizen and not just a visitor. I'll consider it if you at least partake of true Southern iced tea occasionally :truce:

Okay I will surrender too. Gimme the iced tea.

Is this just another response to a random post, Jeana? Hmmm, for some reason I feel it's aimed directly at me. I'm sure I'm wrong. Since you set the standards on here, I know you'd never stoop to flat out making fun of someone.

Well, it's not that. It's more like it's not a joke if the jokester believes the "joke" to be true or it has previously been established the jokester does not like the jokee, otherwise, what a hoot.

ok, it's obvious you(the jokester) do not like me(the jokee) and think I'm an idiot. You could attempt to hide it and set a higher standard for the others though.

What the heck are you talking about? I've never said one thing that would lead anyone to believe this. . . :waitasec: :waitasec: :waitasec:

Beesy, I've gone back and looked over some of your and my posts and still can't figure out what you're talking about. I guess the easiest way of saying it is that I don't really beat around the bush or "imply" things. If I think someone is an idiot, I'm pretty much going to come right out and say it as the other girls here can attest. I hope whatever is bothering you gets worked out, but I don't see any problems here at least as far as I'm concerned.

I read this thread sometime last week, then when I started looking for it this morning, it had been archived. So I hope it is okay if I bring it back up.

I drove by the Rowlett house yesterday on my way home from a shopping trip to Dallas, and there was a Sale Pending sign in the front yard, so apparently, it finally sold.

I have followed this case sporadically and have been reading up on it more intensely in the past few days. That's why I decided to drive by the house. It's only about 3 miles off of I-30. There was a christmas tree in the window, so either the new owners have already moved in and the sign hasn't been removed from the yard, or the present owners are still living there.

After seeing the house, I am more convinced than ever that an intruder did not do this. Why would an intruder flee by running deeper into the alley, when he could have turned right and made a quicker getaway? The alley is VERY long and the Routier house is at the end of the block.

I was over there last week picking up my Christmas cookies (they were soooo yummy), and saw the sign. I was reminded again how close the houses are together. There's no way someone saw that house and just decided spur of the moment to go in and rob or rape someone. The way the house is situated is able to be seen on all angels and you have to weave your way in an out of dead end streets to get there and to leave. Its not a house of convenience for someone to happen by.

Thanks for the viewpoint. It always helps when someone sees something first hand and can describe it to us. I agree with your conclusion. Even on paper it is easy to see that the most obvious escape route would have been in the other direction.
