I was struck by how intelligent and with it Lee sounded. I got the idea LE much preferred to talk to him than to his parents. I like Lee a lot better after reading that interview!!

OMG.....I just started backing away....I just started nursing school and thought, this a great time to give myself a break from this case! Now 600 pages to read...ontop of physiology. Too bad DH ordered pizza last night, he's going to expect a meal!!!! (He's going to be surprised by this....he already knows Wednesdays have been the big action day.) And I've got all this reading to do!!!

I'm already reading the AL one and know this is going to be good.....hopefully an arrest will follow shortly.

guh, sounds like evidence was shuffled around from the beginning. Lee getting her clothing, Cindy having access to the car, Lee getting rid of Amy's key, The DA having Casey's receipts and the detectives had not looked at them yet...

The day CA arrived at AL's apartment to retrieve KC, CA said to AL while she waited:

"I hope you're rich because Casey's going to take all your money and leave you high and dry."

KC responded, "Shut up".

And CA and KC left AL's apartment for the last time.

I just finished reading both interviews and I am in Awe. Lee does nothing but laughs throughout his whole interview. I can't imagine how he could find anything funny when his niece is missing. And they did not take out the phone numbers of all of the people mentioned so I have no idea why it took so long.

Has anything else been posted?

Wow, Cindy KNEW when she came in the room with LA and Casey what had happened. She put 2 and 2 together. "What have you done?" Thats a damning question. So much truth is revealed right there. Cindy knew, now she refuses to believe. So sad.

Oh my God, I am just going over Lee's statement and I have already been sick several times. I am floored to say the least. One answer that I have already found to a question that I personally had, which was if Casey had her own laptop, and she did not. She apparently took Cindy's when she left. It is on page 18/69 of Lee's statement, and Lee states he went to Tony's place and collected Casey's things, and then he tells about the laptop in detail. It was Cindy's laptop.

And then Lee goes on to describe the condition of KC's stuff at Tony's when he went to get it and says it was far too neat for her. That she's a slob who leaves stuff all over the floor, but her stuff was all packed in bags. It almost sounds like she was ready to skedaddle someplace else when her mom caught up with her.

it's very common for people to laugh when their nervous. It's a normal coping mechanism.

I didn't get the feeling that LA thought it was funny. I think he got the gravity of the situation immediately. It was only later when the family went into damage control mode that they all started backing off from the original statements.

 Cindy takes the $200 or so dollars out of Casey's wallet while the officer has stepped out and pockets it!! I think she should give that back to Amy.

I can't believe the officer actually stepped away as they were going thru her things!

Casey forcefully gives George the gas cans and says "here's your F-ing cans. That's not the story George told.

I think Cindy may depend on Lee as a husband more than George. It sounds like Lee is used to taking care of the messes his family stirs up.

My teenage daughter does the same thing, makes me madder then he**!!

Then I guess I have something to look forward to when mine become teenagers.

I just think that I would be on the brink of tears talking about all of this to police but maybe that was his way of dealing with it.

Cindy saying she wanted Caylee here and not just for Lee to go see if she is alright broke my heart - saying she wanted to HOLD her was just heartbreaking - i feel so bad for Cindy. I want to hug her.

I actually started crying right there. This is physically wearing on me.......I need to go hug my kids right now

:(:(:( I've always felt terribly for the grandparents. I just cannot imagine. I just cannot imagine.

Not me. They are still enabling her. They are a HUGE part of the problem!

If she was my dau, she'd sit in jail until she talked. AND, no computer.
