7.4 quake New Zealand destructive Tsunami possible - drawdown being observed

The narration may be a hoot but "Dudes" in the video are idiots. Are they auditioning for a Darwin Award? FWIW They sound more American than Kiwi IMO.

That dude (!) is what dude, made dude, their narration dude. such a hoot dude!!!!!!

yeh I thought not from there as well!! Dude!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IKnow what I mean dude ???

I remember Japan. It was the only time I had ever seen on Googles home page a warning like Tsunami to hit west coast in 6 hours.

Wigged me out. I thought I knew what they look like. A tidal wave. Wrong. I was utterly blown away that it just kept coming and coming and coming.

I had some bad dreams .

I had no idea that is how they are --when I saw this this AM, and it was 7.4 .......... it was like oh no please no ...............................

Sounds awful. I've never seen a tsunami and I hope I'm nowhere near the Oregon or northern California coast when the big one hits. I'm about 2 hours inland.

The friends in Napier I mentioned earlier went inland as instructed and are OK and back home, but a daughter lives in Wellington. She's OK but I don't know how it will impact work, etc.

Yes it was extremely scary stuff and we are still getting aftershocks [emoji33]

How would you describe the aftershocks?

Duration intensity?

Are you inside ?

Power?

I wish you well

Yes they are intense for sure! We luckily have power but many don't have stocked up on supplies in case we do lose power though

Sending hugs! Are you in the main area of damage?

I remember this one as being one that just blew my mind. After like 5 minutes it was like just stop already, when is it going to stop? Stop.
