1) charges = CONT SUB, MFG, MARIJUANA 14.175-4535G

I took it to meen controlled substance (thinking maybe meth) for the MFG
AND Marijuana in addition?
Manufacturing marijuana is an actual charge. It means growing and/or preparing it to sell. Maybe I can find a link.

Does anyone else find it funny that Joe's parents were leaving the country about the time their house was raided? I'm sure they really are truckers. Just sounds funny, especially the way I hear Granny Flo saying it in my mind.

He was first booked at 7:57 PM so it had to be before then. If you can rewind the scan to, say, 6 PM...you might hear something.
Thx krkrjx, I'm too wiped out tonight...maybe someone who has access to tapes can listen tonight or tomorrow morning...Grandmaj has access but don't know if she can in the morning so it might be late afternoon. Odds are it won't be over the radio since it looks like the bust was planned, but IDK the ways of LE are new to me! lol

In looking up the statutes in Tenn., it states that the Marijuana Laws in the State are extremely complex and you need an attorney if ever arrrested.

JO must be off probation now or they would have held him on a probation violation.

Well, is meth made from marijuana? Really, I have no clue. If not, IMO it should have been separate charges.

well, I don't believe marij is a controlled substance

and no meth is not made from marij.

I'm trying to listen, Christee, but there are several feeds in metro Nashville. The one that's specifically for Davidson County is Fire/EMS. So, I dunno.

Is he charged with making meth? You don't manufacture pot. He must have stuff for making dope.

Schedule VI controlled substance in TN

Marijuana is considered to be a schedule VI drug
.

Since marijuana is a controlled substance in Tennessee, it is a criminal offense for someone to knowingly:
• manufacture marijuana
• deliver marijuana
• sell marijuana
• possess marijuana with intent to manufacture, deliver, or sell marijuana.

California Health and Safety Code § 11358 criminalizes “plant[ing], cultivat[ing], harvest[ing], dr[ying], or process[ing] any marijuana.”   The information stating the count to which Reveles-Espinoza eventually pled guilty alleged that he did “plant, cultivate, harvest, dry, and process marijuana.”   Under federal law, the manufacture of marijuana may be punished by up to five years' imprisonment and is therefore a felony.   See 21 U.S.C. § 841(b)(1)(D);  18 U.S.C. § 3559(a)(4).  “The term ‘manufacture’ means the production ․ or processing of a drug,” 21 U.S.C. § 802(15), and “[t]he term ‘production’ includes the manufacture, planting, cultivation, growing, or harvesting of a controlled substance,” 21 U.S.C. § 802(22).

If it's the JBH I found:

Theft of property $10,000-<$60,000

Was he trying to steal a car? lol

Maybe he was stealing the drugs from JO when they swarmed in. Okay, just kidding. This is just sad that so many family members have arrest records. You would think with all the publicity, maybe JO - being young - would think to choose a different way of life. Does he NOT see what is going on with his cousins? It is a dead end. For crying out loud it's so obvious!

Thank you, Cheddar, for alerting us of this breaking news. )

Off to bed now. G'nite all. I'm saying an extra prayer tonight that something good comes from this mess.

there is a synthetic marijuana, that's manufactured somehow, but Joe doesn't strike me as the type. I would think it would be expensive & kind of businessy. It's legal in some places, & sold in tobacco stores-mainly so dopers can get high & still pass their drug tests. I've actually thought about trying it, since it is legal, just to see if it it's any good.

Well I guess that's all the excitement for tonight. I'm off to bed as soon as I water my plants...yep, I am manufacturing geraniums on my deck and I have to water them at night since it has been too hot during the day to water. Nite all.

Wow.

Since this comes so soon after Tommy's hearing I'm wondering if it made anybody (Misty, Ron?) scared and think they'd get off easier if they rat on Joe...?

Otherwise I'm pretty sure that with or without Haleigh going missing a large number of these people would have been in and out of jail rather regularly and that this is not out of character.

He was out fast. I'm buying a share in the company that manufactures revolving doors.

Joe was no saint before this. He's had an attorney for the last 3 years because he was in trouble with the law. He's been shot while trying to steal a car. I'm not surprised at all and I'm glad LE was watching him.

People wondered why he was still free after the stories from TC and MC but LE can't just arrest someone on words from a pack of known liars. He may be totally innocent of anything to do with Haleigh and he may not be but can we now stop saying that he is just some little innocent kid who couldn't pull off anything dangerous or bad.

Is geraniums code for something??? Haha just kidding!! :blowkiss:

No MJ is not involved in the manufacture of meth. However, psuedophedrine is. This is why I have to have my drivers license scanned every time I have to buy psuedophed. :furious:
