Toronto Police are hoping the public can identify a man involved in an alleged robbery and assault of an 87-year-old woman on Feb. 7 in the Keele St. and Sheppard Ave. W. area. SUPPLIED/TORONTO POLICE
''The victim, identified by her daughter Sofia, is named Maria and is having a difficult time coping.

“She is not doing too well,” said Sofia, who didn’t wish to have her last name printed.

“She didn’t break any bones, but the attack has really affected her.”
Maria has been in bed ever since.

“It has been very traumatic for her,” Sofia added.

“She’s upset. We just hope whoever did this gets caught.”

They are hopeful police are successful in tracking down this robber, who not only took money, but photographs and keepsakes near and dear to Maria.''
