A lead we hardly ever hear of??

I just wondered if anyone knows much about the woman who reported speaking to someone who claimed he was JonBenet's dad at one of the beauty pageants , not long before her death. It seems it was never followed up on as the woman couldn't remember much about him, only that in seeing media of John Ramsey after her murder, realised that the man she had spoken to was not him. Someone who would do that is surely a huge suspect in this case and they wouldn't just drop their line of enquiry cos the woman couldn't recall much. Was this guy possibly any of the people who have already been suspected? was the woman shown photos of suspects to jog her memory? Could she recall anything about what he said? How did she come to speak to him in the first place? There seems so little detail on this part of it and yet it is surely so vital. It would suggest the man they are looking for (or at least one of) was someone who had known of JonBenet through the pageants. Maybe he had attended many. Where did her pageants tend to be held and how easy were they to get into? Did anyone else talk to this man? Did he give a first name? Could she give a rough age? Too much of a lead and too little information it would seem.

Am afraid not- which is why I was asking here. I remember reading this bit of information a few days ago and cannot recall where or how I cam across it. But it rang a bell as am sure I had heard about that in the past. There is obviously so little about it out there and why it is not easy to find. The article never gave a name - but I seeem to recall they said it was a woman who had witnessed it. Jonbenet performed at the Downtown mall in Boulder, near where her fathers' company Access Graphics was- on Pearl Street . It seemed to suggest it happened in the days before her death. Who knows it could have been at this performance? It is really frustrating I am unable to find it again. It was interesting to me she had performed at the mall so soon before her death and around about the time her father's company celebrated reaching the $1 billion revenue mark. Surely ex employees would also have been aware of this landmark. Perhaps it refueled bitterness for some. The main people from John's company who were said to have left Access Graphics that year on bad terms were Mike Glynn and Jeff Merrick- the latter actually took up an ethics case against Lockheed Martin of which Access Graphics was a subsidiary and is alleged to have said he would bring the company down.
