When I spoke to Beth Monday evening, I told her that I was a web sleuther. She asked if she should contact Trisha to possibly do a weekly q&a via postings or setting up something like that. She asked if I thought any of us would even be interested in participating in something like that. HELLO!

I actually sent an email off to my friend, Oprah Winfrey, saying how lucky the own network is now that Beth Karas is available. I wonder if anyone actually ever reads those emails.

Where can we continue this conversation?

She never cried. She was faking. Another thing, when Nurmi mentioned death, it never phased her. Monster this one.

I think she did manage to squeeze out a tear or two, right on cue. I noticed
that too, she didn't even flinch when hearing about her possible death sentence.

She thinks she will be acquitted, or get a lesser sentence.

She truly is evil. MOO

this is O/T but I'm totally mind blown that HLN/tru/In Session would totally change up the whole format of coverage in the middle of a HUGE trial. Will HLN take over for trial coverage right away?

I love Beth Karas, Joey Jackson, Mike Brooks I will definitely miss their insight. It's hard for me to watch HLN.....they take commercials every 10 seconds at the worst possible moments

I'm with you on these. Nice people! I too get annoyed with all their commercials at inappropriate times. Thank you

I was in shock when CourtTV went to TruTV, and now it's gone for good,
it's a sad day for what's left of educational, interesting television.

As for HLN, I'm stunned that they'd let Beth go and keep on the likes of Laura B the co-host on Dr. Drew.

Oh sorry meant jodi smiling! After her glasses came off! And my heart went out to Travis sister Samantha and the rest! You could see they visibly shaken. Makes me upset how Jodi's mom and aunt act inappropriate in court.

However, for a FB page, I like the sound of Keep Beth Karas.

eta: I see after this post dropped that you got a reply from Mr Safon's office, so don't know if you still will do a FB page.

We still need a FB page. The more support the better chances are for Beth to keep her job or find a better one.

If we all bombard Mr. Safon, we just may see her with her own program. Better yet if they were to re-think InSession.

As far as Mike Brooks is concerned, I haven't heard if he was let go. There's another voice for reason.

Of all the TV people on InSession, my respect goes to Mike, Beth, and Vinnie. However, Beth is the best.

My e-mails have been sent. LOL! Among other things, I did mention that senior citizens have been ignored (except in commercials for medical devices) and skewing to the younger market types doesn't mean that us Baby Boomers don't count. We are legion and growing every day.

I wrote to Beth as well and I hope to hear from her as well. I have a bit of a connection to her, although a bit tenuous.

I agree, Beth, Mike, and Vinnie are my favorites. I like Christie Paul too.

LOL! re: senior citizens and medical device commericals. I know what you mean, it's so true.
I used to watch CourtTV in the evening when Forensic Files, and similar shows were on. Once it went to Tru and no more forensics I stopped watching.
I'm now watching OWN and Investigation ID for my true crime fix.

I think it's the last dragging photo. It shows (MOO) the hallway, baseboard, and maybe Travis being dragged. It's not the one with her foot.

They could have a "The View" type show and Beth and Vinnie could be the round table hosts. They could have guest commentators such as our Katie and The Other Katie etc and of course our Tricia, Levi Page, and some WSers.

She also said best place to write letters is everyone's local cable or satellite providers.l.they really listen to their customers. I will write Dish. She has something else in the works and said "stay tuned". And she also said "thank you so much for all your support. You have no idea how much it means to me". Power in numbers guys...we need to help Beth!!! Please write!!

JM wanted JA to stand up and show him how Travis was when he was in his linebacker position coming at her at the time of the shooting. JM kept telling JA "without talking show me" but JA kept explaining and not really showing.

She hated being told to just demonstrate and not go into some lonnnng explanation. She's met her match with Juan.

I wish the jurors could go on a field trip and do a walk through of the house and the closet in particular.

Me too, it would give them perspective. On the other hand, I don't think the jury will need it to convict. Still, I think it would be an interesting trial day.

There was a petition, in one of the other threads a couple of days ago, but I can't find it. I did sign it.
I'll keep looking for the link.

I'd be happy with an hour show if it was good. As I said before, Beth is better than what's on now. I do like NG, but liked her better when she wasn't so over the top. Dr. Drew is in desperate need of a decent co-host.

Maybe we can get a "save Beth" thread started for us.

Dear mr saffron
I have been watching i session court tv for years. I'm sorry to hear that beth karas will no longer be on! Court tv!
Beth Kara's is among one of the only reporters that tells it like it is! She doesn't take sides.
Even when it's not popular! I was so disappointed to find that she will be leaving us. Beth reports with honesty, humility and integrity, professionalism. I have noticed that other court tv reporters waver on what they report and that's depending on whom they are talking to. Ill give you an example no pun intended. Just being honest! Jean Caesars (spelled wrong?) will report different when she's with nancy grace and different when she is with Jane velez Mitchell dr drew and others. I. Have nothing against jean! I'm just giving you an example from my observation through the years watching her in action.

I am not impressed with Jane velez Mitchell! She is not a favorite in my books! Her puppy drooling ! Takes time from the program! As it is we have so many commercials so that puppy drooling time should be kept on the important issue this. Murder trial. I like animals! But she's just over board. I feel Jane is fake and tries to feign friendly when callers call in! Her personality?
Ok back to Beth! I hope you consider finding a position for her! Perhaps her own show? She would be amazing! Because she is an amazing person.
What a beautiful lady! Inside out! You have the ability to find a position for her.

:waitasec: Wait - who is cutting our trial time via InSession down to only two hours which is not enough time for a traffic ticket? TruTv or the cable providers? Knowing who is behind this is essential to saving our trials. While a show would be good, we need our trials with INTELLIGENT commentary like Beth gives.

JVM needs to go! They should fill the spot with Beth and a non tabloid style of serious trial discussions with intelligent and honest informed opinions. Not manufactured debates.

I agree, but I think we should be careful not to attack one reporter, in trying to save another. I don't think Beth would want that either. JMO
