I'm simply shocked that CNN/hln/tru/In Session would totally change up the whole format of coverage in the middle of a trial.

I will especially miss legal correspondant, the invaluable intelligent lovable Beth Karas's extraordinary contributions and her incredible insight.

Whomever made the final decision on format change and letting a precious gem like Beth Karas go needs to re-evaluate and be re-educated as to what it is the public truly wants!! In my opinion You are fools to have let her go!!

We don't want reality TV at all!! We want --->Truth in Trial TV

Another network will snap her up and as you realize what a mammoth mistake you made...Beth will have moved on...and so will your viewers.

What will make InSession/tru TV successful??? Give Beth Karas HER OWN SHOW.
Call it Trial Watch and allow Beth to format her own show. PLEASE re-consider.

When I spoke to Beth Monday evening, I told her that I was a web sleuther. She asked if she should contact Trisha to possibly do a weekly q&a via postings or setting up something like that. She asked if I thought any of us would even be interested in participating in something like that. HELLO!

I actually sent an email off to my friend, Oprah Winfrey, saying how lucky the own network is now that Beth Karas is available. I wonder if anyone actually ever reads those emails.

Sooooo.... There were no prints on the shelves... So she had to make a story up... Where she only used her foot on one shelf and one hand to grab the gun...

Why didn't she just say she did a backflip and caught the gun from the shelf with her toes? that is almost as believable...

Also, supposedly their was a frantic chase through this closet. NOTHING is disturbed. The bench was in the middle....NEITHER of them ran into that?

Hi everyone! I just wanted to drop a note and say that yesterday was a real rough day inside the courtroom. Although Martinez did an excellent job and tied up the loose ends even getting Jodi to admit the injury to her left ring finger was in fact a result of June 4th, the reality of how brutal of a crime this was hit home. Juan displayed a photo of Travis' back wounds. It is still in my mind today, and I imagine in the mind of many who were in the courtroom yesterday. I have seen the previous horrific pictures of Travis but for some reason this one personally hit me hard. So please, keep the prayers going for Travis' family and friends.

So we walked Katie to the trucks and all sat out there talking and I was bound and determined to talk to Beth again about wth is going on with In Session and HLN coverage. Basically she thinks they will still cover the trial BUT thinks it might get cut off in the morning.

I had a really long talk with her. She's so nice. She's one of those people while she's talking to you she's reaching out and touching your hand or arm. I dunno I just really like that but I'm a sucker for affection.

Ok so she really needs our help. I talked to her about starting a "cause" facebook page. She likes the idea. And the CAUSE is to get her to keep covering trials. Somewhere. I don't have a good idea on the perfect title and if anyone out there wants to take on this project, that would be great. She's in to it. I just keep telling her how many fans she has and I don't think she really has any idea. I think we need to mobilize to help her. And there is an email address she gave me to write letters to protest her job loss or try and persuade them to keep her on live trial somehow. She really doesn't know what she's gonna do.

She gave me permission to post her email address here and said she's launching her own FB page in March.

She will be on a CNN show tomorrow night at 10pm est I think. and also Good Morning America early Sat. am 7:30. I gave her so many hugs and we both got tears in our eyes. I go way back with her.

Also I told her and guess I will go on ahead and tell you all, I was contacted by a producer for the Ricki lake show ironically just as I was walking in to court yesterday to ask me to be a guest. I was shocked when I told him I was just walking in the courtroom and he said "for what?". I assumed he contacted me related to my involvement in this trial but not at all. He'd just googled our case and knew a TON about it so asked if he could call me back today and did.

They are doing a show on murder for money and want to highlight my sister's case. This is a near and dear subject for me as I hold the insurance companies complicit with her death. We sued them and lost. It's a HUGE part of our case and if not for them, she'd be alive today and they didn't follow their own checks and balances (in fact "waived" them). Had they make ONE phone call they'd have found out her killer had a prior conviction for insurance fraud and would have never sold the policy. I'm shaking typing this as I feel so strongly about this and it was so unjust for my family. So I agreed to be on the show. They are flying me in March 11 taping the 12th. So...will keep you posted about air dates or whatever. Kind of weird timing as he knew NOTHING about this case even! Very little anyway.

Oh! I had a long talk with Julie Christopher on the sidewalk which was super interesting. I know she bugs a lot of people (the intutive) but this kind of person is in my world and I really found her interesting. She's french and gorgeous. Don't want to go in to details other than I had that encounter.

My mom and I watched Dr. Drew together and both of us got tears in our eyes when you talked about how emotional it was for you. That's how normal people respond to hearing emotion in someones voice. I have never once had an emotional reaction towards JA. I can't imagine the jury has either because it's just not real! Put Samantha or Tanisha on the stand and they'll feel real emotion!

I've seen that picture before and it really is a slap in the face at how brutal this was. My mind went to his book intro where he said that as a kid he learned how to turn so his mom would hit his back or arms because it hurt less. :tears:

I thought Juan was wonderful and have no doubt he'll get justice for Travis! We have to get through Nurmi's redirect and the experts, but Juan will bring it all back into focus during rebuttal.

JM showed a photo of some kind of baseboard and some kind of closeup of a bodypart I couldn't make out basically covered in blood. I didn't look it very long, sorry.

It was actually the threshold of the bathroom doorway between the bathroom and the hallway. The bloody body portion was TA's shoulder (the same shoulder that is shown in the photo with her foot.) Same blood streams shown on the skin. :sigh:

Hi Katie! :seeya: Glad you're back! What was your impression of the juror reactions yesterday? Especially when she made the comment about her "only visible injury" and when she was recounting the crime from him stepping out if the shower? Thanks for sharing your observations!

I'd be happy with an hour show if it was good. As I said before, Beth is better than what's on now. I do like NG, but liked her better when she wasn't so over the top. Dr. Drew is in desperate need of a decent co-host.

I know I was exhausted the last few days just watching the testimony on tv. I can only imagine how much worse it is in the court room.

was testimony given about Travis's journals? He texted Jodi on 5/28 and it was a contentious converstaion calling her a " pure " selfish and a sociopath. Im sure he wrote about this in his journal but I never heard what happend to them. ( I bet she stole them).

Also testimony about the closet I noticed she forgot the stool she testified to the other day, now she just used the shelf, she forgot the stool.

Also what was her mothers reaction when she was cornered by Juan martinez regarding the stabbing event?
