I was thinking Sarah Palen for both JA and co-council (Wilmos?)
Good ones.

Greetings to all, and a big howdee doo to all the new peeps.
Just for fun, I wonder if some of the gallery attendees might give us a little
tug on their earlobe from time to time.
Sort of an homage to Carol Burnett and her Grandmother.
It'd be fun to see y'all give WS a big 'ol ear tug ~I wub you~ live by satellite..
and cause puzzlement to viewers as to why half the gallery has swimmers ear.
Keep this under your hats, tho, we don't want to cause any ripples in the proceedings.
I'm only a month into this case and I'm trying to catch up on all the minutia, reading into the wee hours till my brain feels like it's fizzing out my ears.
lI so appreciate the massive library of information that has been compiled, and I thank all, for their efforts, as does my fizzy brain.
I'm glad we can all climb into the Mystery Machine together.
Have a great week all and I'll be a'lurkin' on Wednesday.

ATTENTION PLEASE! :seeya:
LOL, well, once again we're getting off topic on this thread. I really don't want to be a pain, but there are many people who have limited time to spend on Websleuths, that are following the case. They like threads such as this that are dedicated just to courtroom observations and find it difficult to wade through OT posts.
We've opened a thread just for katiecoolady. The new thread is NOT to replace the courtroom observation thread, but to go off topic of inside the courtroom, but about katie. Like her trip today in L.A. for the Ricky Lake show. It's related to domestic violence and victims, so it's relevant to this case, thus we'll leave it in the Travis Alexander forum.
I will be moving posts made in the last 24 hours talking to Katie and about her trip to L.A. We'll try and leave this thread just for inside observations and questions about what our Websleuth observers think or see.
Now it's about 24 hours until curtain time. Hope Jodi is sweatin' it! Wednesday should be a GOOD day for the prosecution! Goooooo Juan!
If you have any questions let me know.

Thank you so much for an insiders view of what goes on behind the holding cell door.
I didn't watch the Casey Anthony trial, but am familiar with the case.
I thought it was unusual too, the way ja's family acts at times, but this is
the first trial I've attended in person.
That is a question I've asked myself a few times. Why does her mother and aunt come to court every day when ja never looks their way. I was told the mother visits her in jail.
When on the stand ja doesn't talk about her mother in a good light. It's always "we have our problems", "we don't get along", "we're not close".
Esteben Flores is the lead detective on the case. He works for Mesa P.D. I think he's referred to as lead investigator. He's also the detective who interviewed her on the jailhouse tapes we've seen.
Juan Martinez is a lone wolf, and has no co-counsel. When inside the courtroom they're all business. Outside the courtroom I've seen Flores and Martinez interact and they appear in a good mood.
Are you close enough to attend the trial? If we have other WSers coming in we will make sure we have happy hour after. During court we may not get to sit together, and the breaks are over before you know it. So it's a time for us to visit and compared notes on the trial.![]()

The week before last, when Juan was questioning JA on the stand and she was being very difficult when answering him, they panned the camera on JA's mom and aunt and they were both grinning from ear to ear. I couldn't believe how ignorant it appeared. It was almost like they were proud of her being beligerant on the stand. I was totally shocked at how they acted. As a mother, I would have not only been horrified at what my daughter had done, but wouldn't think her being a total jerk on the stand was anything to laugh about.
IS showing quite a crowd lining up to get into the trial Katie. Hope you get in.

My ex daughter in law has never had any "real" friends that are female..They figured her out pretty quick. I've seen her talk over her new husband (of two weeks) when he was on the phone with his boss and say into the phone that he, the boss, wanted her, and I knew he'd be the next one she used. I know I shouldn't of been shocked, but I was. She never changes, she is always right and everyone else is stupid.
She was abusive to my son (abused, neglected and sexual abuse to my grandchildren) and her next two husbands and children, would slap them in the face in front of people if they crossed her. She will never change, she just moves on to the next man who she convinces that he has to "save" her. She won't stop talking and they give up and give in to shut her up. I see this in Jodi.
The men just want her to go the hell away, but she doesn't, she has that hook of a child that she got pregnant with to seal the deal and keep her in their lives for ever. She is the one that has to end things, won't let anyone else or she puts them they hell and back.
I understand Travis's remark of your evil and the worse thing to ever have in his life. I see Travis as the victim of abuse. I wonder what Jodi did or said that made Travis afraid of her for him to tell friends that he might end up dead one day.
Are we keeping this thread for JANINE DRIVER DAY? Just wanna know as I'm sending the link to someone who's never been to WS so want to be sure I get the correct one.![]()
I was just coming in to post the same thing. Quite a line already!
