Even that! The HUUGGG with Nurmi...How ridiculous and inappropriate! They're not in a theatre production. They're in a trial. One is a lawyer and one is an "expert witness". Did Nurmi hug Dr. Dick too? Why even partake in public signs of affection while still in the courtroom? These people have NO understanding of professionalism at all. Can you imagine if JM hugged DeMarte's after her testimony? (For the love of cheese, I know he will not.)

That really bothered me too... This is BUSINESS! Can you imagine hugging colleagues after a business meeting? Or better yet, bringing family and friends to work and having them laugh in the conference room during a very serious meeting?

The worst part is she doing this on the taxpayer's dime!

Yes! This is what I think...I think she started realizing she was losing (control of) him for good so she, either let him know about the recording or played it for him... And considering what we know of Travis (apart from JA's lies), he was a person of upstanding character... A recording like that would be so upsetting to him....especially on top of who knows what other annoying sociopathic things he had already endured and was attempting to get a away from...

Before I read your post I saw the video and thought why is he scratching his head like that. Your mind only goes to one place if you've had school age children. Sometimes when elders start to lose some of their identity they become less careful and they are not responsible enough to take care of themselves. If you have family they can intervene to get someone to help take care of those needs. Not everyone has family, or anyone who cares. It's very sad.

Be careful what you say Lamb. With KCL in the courtroom, she's liable to take him home and clean him up and feed him. KCL has a big heart and if she thinks this guy is being neglected, she'll take care of him like she does everybody else.:floorlaugh:

I'm still not sure if that is a clear and truthful statement that they put out. I wonder if they are carefully choosing their words ... still waiting and I am sure the truth will come out about it in the not too distant future

My sincere hope is that she is never again given the opportunity to exploit vulnerable women and men for her own financial gain.

This deserves to be read again! Sad but true. I think you should email this to her. I believe she has convinced herself that what she is saying is the truth. I hope this weekend is sobering to her....from what I understand the symposium or whatever she was talking at yesterday cancelled her speech due to the overwhelming volume of upset callers. Maybe she will realize what she has done has far more devastating repercussions that just turning a killer loose. Great post!

KCL i don't understand, from every thing you all have said, the are pretty strict in the courtroom, and have seen ppl kicked out because their phone accidentlt goes off once, why are they not doing any thing about jodi's crew, they all sit up front eating, laffing, staring down the family - the donovan one she did when the juror was excused was kinda scary- and now they break out laffing in court. why are they not being thrown out?

and the mit specialist, she was already caught smuggling letters, and now she was laffing it loud too? how come she isn't replaced, or made to watch the video stream from the next room??

DB should have been banned earlier.. JMOO of course.. and the guffawing "friend" of ALV should make Thursday's courtroom visit her first and her LAST! OOOOOOO I am so mad.

Well, AVL and Jodi mispronounced the word "ameliorate" in the exact same way. They both said "ah-mel-ee-or-ate" instead of "ah-meel-eeorate" I've never heard anyone mispronounce that word and they did it in the same exact way. And they used in describing what Jodi did to soothe Travis after a rage/abuse incident. Coincidence?

Great catch! I'm sure the word came from one of the four books AVL gave Jodi to teach her how to become a "battered woman". I'm hoping Juan will ask the names of those four books. I'll be waiting with a pencil in hand.
